I literally felt a facepalm coming on when I saw the post

The Medicom Yoda always struck me as looking like a cross between E.T. with ears and the McQuarrie concept Yoda. They got the mouth, "receded" chin and lower cheeks right though.

Completely agree with you about the look of the Medicom... the long neck, bulbous cheeks and odd tilt really do have an E.T. look to them.

Eyes look great on mine... not fan of the brown ring around the iris, but at least they're straight and no doll dot

Color on mine looks great. The eyes are fine. I just wished I didn't suffer from paralysis of analysis on how to pose him. If anything I would say he has too many hands.

Picked up my regular Yoda from Toy Anxiety yesterday afternoon, and got to pick out the head with the best paint. I came home to my exclusive and he has really bad guy liner. I love this figure but woo-boy the paint is so hit and miss. And I don't even mind the slight cross-eyed look on some of them.

You can always swap out the heads of the Ex and the reg.

Could be. These were very hastily taken, in a poorly lit location, in one of my wife's potted plants (in case you didn't notice). I also used the macro setting on my camera if that makes any difference. Whn I uploaded the pics to my laptop and looked at them I immediately noticed that the eyes looked a little off and was like WTF? After careful scrutinization of the actual figure, I kind of see it, but it's honestly really not noticable in hand.

Someone mentioned no love for the log? I think I said something about it in my initial comments. The log really is awesome! Kudos to SS for throwing us a bone, it's nice to get a little something extra since Yoda is so small. they really did a nice job on it too, very life like (if that's the right term).

Pix, I have the same problem with figuring out which hands to use on him.
