This figure is awesome! I got her today. My only nitpick that I could think of is the stand. She is way to skiny for a Sideshow stand. Maybe a tighter version of the stand for female figures is in order. Other than that, she is top notch!

I'm just going to add to the praise of this figure. I just received Leia today and she's just as cool as I had hoped - in fact she's my new favorite in the line. I'm not sure if it's just because she's the first ANH figure or not, but she really amps me up for more figures from the first movie.

Now that I've received notice that Ben Kenobi will be arriving at Sideshow in the next 10-15, I feel this year's releases will end on a pretty high note.

Ummm. I hate to break it to you but she was not the first ANH figure. Welcome to the nerd-dome 1 nerd enters and 1 nerd leaves. :lol

If she had already been tailored like Wor-Gar's customization I'd have been right on her. that's for sure

Thanks!!!

And also the eyes looking off is not a good idea either. I wonder what picture the sculptor was using when he designed this? I'm trying to think of one where she is looking off to the side and can't come up with one.

Sculpting has nothing to do with the eyes. That was the paint, and even then probably licensor calls or something. The scene she has her eyes to the side like that is the opening of ANH when she is about to gun down the Stormtroopers.

What bothers me is the clothes. I know that it is not easy getting an action figure's outfit to hang like the actual character, but they could have used a lighter material to make it less boxy looking.

I'm guessing you don't own it, but if her dress was any thinner it'd fall apart in a breeze, it's about the thinnest material I've seen on a 1/6 figure from any manufacturer, especially for primary clothes and not like an undershirt or something.
