In ways the PF's easier, giant molds for the body instead of small, intricate pieces that need a firm construction like a figure body.

I don't think the problem with the delayed release of 12" Indy is the body...
unless they approved prototypes without the actual body, like with the Hobbits...if so, that was a bad call IMO...

That's a good point, although the body could have been a proto, and not production sample. But it would make sense that they would already have production samples of the body before building a figure.

Speaking of production samples, shouldn't they be showing off a full version of the figure and box by now since it's supposed to be shipping next month?

I don't see why there would be any problems with the body. I mean General Obi-Wan had the new body AND Armor to worry about and we (some of us anyway) already have him in hand. Indy just has the Proto and interchangable heads to worry about.

This one got the ax earlier today for the second time. I got rid of Belloq and the Indy PF as well as I don't want to dedicate anything to a dead line....that being said I am really looking forward to seeing what this figure will look like in hand.

i canceled all my sideshow stuff but this recently. I really hope it ships next month. I'm never buying from SS again methinks, too expensive, too long from announcement to product, and not much product adds up to a frustrating experience. No way this thing can live up to the wait. I feel bad for it. but that's just me.

I gotta say, this the hype for this figure for me has died down considerably, especially now that I know we're probably not getting any more figures from this line...

I'm still sticking it out with this one. Wanting a 12" Indy back in 1981 when Kenner put out the old one, started me in collecting 12" figures anyway. I still have my exclusive pre-ordered with SS now.

I am surprised Sideshow wants to minimize sales by killing lines, but that is what they are doing.
