Only one other figure announced and history of other Sideshow lines.

Two figs... Belloq.:monkey3:naughty

I'm willing to wait just a little longer before I say that this line is dead before it even started. The 12" G.I. Joe line has only announced two figs (as well) and no one seems to be wearing a sandwich board saying the end is nigh.

Once Indy starts getting shipped I think there'll be at least two more announcements and the arrival of this stunning fig in the hands of collectors will send new energy into this line and the collecting community.

I hope.:gun:monkey3

Could be that lines like Indy and LOTR are coming slower as they are switching over to the Prometheus. SW has had a faster pace so maybe we haven't seen a delay for them since there were more figures in the planning stages.

Pure speculation, but could be a reason.

Yeah, a couple more Indy variations, Toht and Mola Ram and I could probably live with an unfinished, neglected line.

Can you tell I've lost faith in Sideshow when it comes to this license? :lol

Seriously, it's still listed as "November" right now but I would not be surprised at all if it gets changed to "1st Quarter 2009" or something.

I don't think it's just Sideshow. It seems like every company dropped this property like a hot potato once the movie was out of theaters.

Not really. Only Hasbro, but the reasons behind that are pretty obvious by now.

It's clear that Sideshow was never as hardcore into the INDY license as many of us presumed. Otherwise, we'd have at least 2 other 1:6 figures and the promised 1:1 bust announced by now. KOTCS had little, if any, effect on that. And even if it did it would be pretty stupid considering the film grossed nearly $800 million worldwide and Sideshow is a direct-market company geared toward limited edition product for die-hard collectors.

Sideshow has no excuse here.

Well, I don't know what Indy stuff they have in the hopper but it's clear to me they are lagging severly on new announcements.

Anyone who thinks SSC ROTLA Figs won't sell well is kidding themselves. Key figures... these are timeless Characters.

Mola and a few others would clean up.

Especially

TOHT!!!

I'll be happy if I just get an Indy, sometime soon, preferably in this lifetime would be nice.

Does anyone from Sideshow actually ever read anything thats written here? because if they did they might realise that their doing (or not doing) more to kill this line with collectors than any other company ever has with this property before!
People are just getting so sick of waiting. It cant be taking them all this time to 'perfect' the figure.
Say what you like about Medicom, but look at what they've managed to do in far less time!

Sideshow has already stated a figure each quarter for the Joe line.
