A Hot Toys Iron Monger 1/6

I read somewhere that the Iron Monger in the film was 12 feet tall.

I read & heard some interview with film-cast that gives info he was 3 meters.

3 meters seems kinda short IMO, the 12 feet sounds more like what I see in the film.

if 12 feet is the accurate figure, then a 1/6 iron monger would be around 24". which is bigger than the power loader. price would probably be around tumbler territory IMO.

Look at the screen caps, Tony's head is up to the Iron Monger's shoulders. 3 meters sounds about right. There is no way he is twice Tony's size, that's ludicrous.

In the "making of" featurette on the DVD it says he's 10 feet tall.

if you are refering to this one then I would have to disagree that ironman is about iron monger's shoulder height because its a worm's eye shot, meaning the camera is set lower, objects closer to the camera (ie ironman) is gonna look bigger, and as iron monger is farther away from the camera he naturally looks smaller and shorter than he should be. besides, on the lower shot as iron monger gets closer to iron man he already looks bigger than the upper shot.

ahhhhh damn. if that's the official scale hot toys is using, then the iron monger is going to be HUGE! crap, he maybe be TO big for me to own. I'd love to, but I just don't have the space for something THAT big, crap

Given that photo my statement of 3 meters (9.84 feet) is pretty dam close wouldn't you say? I'll repeat, no where near 12 feet.......

Man, 20" tall will be HUGE! Of course, Hulk and Abomination would be that size too. Hopefully they will make those giants as well!

Iron Monger would be incredibly sweet. Lots of internet buzz created by the thought. Wonder how close Hot Toys is on green lighting such a figure. All three of the Iron Man Marks look terrific, and an Iron Monger would be over the top.
