There is a Trophy for completing the game without killing any Humans. I wonder if using the Alien to clear a path will count as having killed them myself. I mean throwing a noisemaker into a room full of people is pretty much the same as pulling the trigger, right? 
There have been a couple of areas where the Alien appeared to be ever present. One area in particular I couldn’t shake him no matter what I did.

I've always wanted to play an alien game, I have both a ps3 and ps4, is this the one to get? Or should I keep waiting, I like there's DLC following the original Alien though? That's pretty cool.

.Game is great. Really good. Problem being, its only good on the first go. Theres no replay value.
Only problem in an initial play through, is Alien spawning. Its random, it sounds great but theres times you will walk through a door, crawling and it will literally drop infront of you and kill you. And thats unfair, its not smart AI its just literally random and unfair on the player who might of spent 20 minutes prior sneaking with no save. There was one time i kept being sneaky, alien wasnt around and id initiate a hack and once i started id hear the foot stomps and id get killed. I took about 50 minutes once to progress about 4 minutes in the game because it would spawn during a door hacking sequence.
Its a great game but it has no replay value IMO and its cheap as hell at times when its trying to be " unpredictable ".

I'd have to assume the game will consider deaths not caused directly by you as non-kills.
