Swappable mouth pieces make this a must buy for me. I always hated the rubber look to the jaw and around the teeth and this will be my first hot toys alien since the aliens warrior first issue however many years ago that was. I subsequently sold that one a while back.

Other than the damage on the head, is this the same design as the original Alien?
I've not seen the movie yet so haven't seen much of this one.

I would say no. Totally different body shape.

Thanks!! I would prefer it was built like that…not silicone but transparent plastic or hard material to avoid future problems! Really like this figure!

Swap out jaw sound perfect to me! Like this you don’t have to open the jaw and force the silicone tendons that will end brokenor damaged in the future

I’m really hyped for this figure!
Hopefully the price point isn’t too bad after seeing the price of Legolas this morning lol.

Hopefully it comes with a swap out jaw, clean dome and a face hugger.

The more I look at this, the more I think the jaw swaps as well. Look at the translucent tendons and the way they blend into the opaque skin. No way they'd be able to do that with rubber, certainly not rubber meant to stretch. I'm thinking that's solid plastic, let's hope they don't go back on it.

This figure has been looking awesome from all the angles here, If they offer some sort of premium base or accessories other than hands like a facehugger and egg I would bet this fetch's massive sales. Very impressed so far.

This looks great, though I can’t help but think once this sells we’ll begin to see stuff from the first two films.

They always do this,
sell the figure from the new film while it’s fresh,
then give people what they actually want later.
People had to go through two Venoms and onto the third to get a version closer to what they wanted, and of course, the version you want never comes first.

They’ll definitely make a Ripley 2.0 and with it, aliens from the first or second film.
They aren’t going to go all out on Terminator and not for Alien and Predator, it’s all about timing.
