My Aragorn. Did the hair mods and some nitpicking/gel application/washing/trimming and am happy with the result.

Uh, it’s Middle Earth summer fashion style (?)

Under the duster is fall fashion. Leaves are falling all around, time I was on my way… k-bye

Happy Dirge and others got "good ones" but just makes me madder for the folks that didn't . We all paid a good amount unless you had vendor points or coupons or something.

Took out alot of that gunk in the hair.... got the top of the head rounder, pushed that neck peg down to its maximum so the hair looks a little longer... looks better now in my eyes. Beautiful figure overall, glad i have him. However it needs some time and patience to get him there.

Looks really good, totally worth the effort you put in. 👏🏻

I know we don’t ask kit for updates but can anyone here confirm when they ordered? Mine was January 9th, 2023

My figure is in transit to a USPS facility in the US. At first I wondered if the dock workers strike would affect that. But I would imagine the postal service has its own separate operation to receive packages from overseas.

Did you ever contact Kit or whoever about yours? You really deserve some help with that thing.
Yeah, working on it. BTW InArt really sets customers up to fail if you need service, far as I can tell from reading -

If you encounter significant issues with the paint or rooted hair, please contact customer support for assistance. INART reserves the right to interpret the final after-sales solution.........

Reading this and other comments, including the "cheerios ring" thing with Gandalf - I've concluded that InArt is a "buyer beware" company. Granted, a lot of companies including WETA are a pain in the *ss with parts, replacements. To some degree it's justified as customers can be insane. Or scammers.

On the other hand, reading their whole replacement page, InArt seems more concerned with holding on to purchase money and making returns/exchanges difficult. And for me suspiciously dragging out the process until any credit card protections expire, so they can say they tried. Etc.

I wouldn't call it premium service for a "premium product". It's more like a few E-bayers I've dealt with - not often - who fight to hold onto a few bucks. Squirrely. But now I know what I'm dealing with, if I purchase Thorin (if he is produced).

Sure glad I can 1) legitimately cover Aragorn with a hooded cloak worst case and 2) wasn't desperate for a Legolas or Gimli fig.
