I got love for A3 I won't argue with that I like the flick, your post made it sound like A3 is a better film because it made more money in theaters.

Nah, my post was more trying to be about the fact that it seemed to half the popularity in America, yet doubled in rest of the world. But i do see that the whole money thing looked like i was trying to bury Aliens, but i love all 3 of the Alien movies

I don't know but the creature in Alien3 was cheesy looking, didn't look as frightening as Alien or Aliens. looked kinda small and sometimes looked really really fake. the Alien in ALIEN was the scariest of them all, true you could say the aliens in Aliens were more like fighting insects, but at least they didn't look as fake as the dog alien. that thing looked pretty bad. That's one of the reasons I can't ever take that movie seriously.
For more horrible that A:R and AVP 1 and 2 were, At least their aliens looked like aliens. The alien designs for A:R AVP and AVPR were okay, I mean the Aliens in AVP looked pretty good. and the alien swimming in A:R was really really awesome.

the dog Alien in Alien3 kinda looked like a shiny booger.

I felt for that dog tho. I mean **** why couldn't he burst out of the cow like in the original. That was ****ed up when he burst out of the dog. Funny that nobody seemed to notice either.

Its actually my favorite Alien design. Allthough its a big departure from the original design i feel its where the creature finally hit its peak as being perfect for every situation. It was elongated and had the fin/tail so it could move freely in water, had the chicken legs so it could run incredibly fast on all surfaces ect

... and i love that it had a domed head with the bits of afterbirth dried on it.

the movie sucked but I can't completely hate it because of this scene. That alien swimming was pretty amazing when I first saw it. I loved that so much. The aliens in A:R were pretty pretty good looking (except the abortion alien)

If i had to choose between alien3 and Alien Resurrection to watch I would rather watch Alien Resurrection just to laugh at it. Alien Resurrection at least makes me laugh.
