Believe it or not, this will be my first HT Alien figure. I can't wait! I'm lovin' these pics!

Yeah, I am dying to have this figure on the shelf... Looks fantastic.

I have the AVP warrior, that's my only 1/6 Alien figure from HT, but this one looks like everything I could want it to be, and I don't know if it's the camera doing it, but it looks glossy, which the AVP isn't, which'll be cool if they have that affect to it so it can look slimy as it should.

Damn, looks awesome!!! Hopefully sideshow starts shipping em within the next month :)

Pjam, what's your Alien Warrior of preference, Aliens or Alien?

And since you were the one that got the ball rolling, what are your thoughts on the tentatively final backdrop design?

I love them both really, the Alien Warrior is simply Iconic, the original Geiger Design; haunting, sleek, menacing... "I Admire it's purity" ... and I would kill for one too Ash.

But the Aliens Warriors were distinctive as well... and moved in groups plus I have the Marines ready for him...

So, give me both!

And Maulfan, let me say that image is breathtkaking and I applaud your efforts.

This, I believe is based on the EXT. wide shot of the Marines as they first entered. In fact it is the Only shot of the Marines used before Biehn arrived on set, James Remar is actually in that shot. Cameron used a prop overhanging the lens to give the overhead effect and it was the very first Image he presented to the Studio Execs...

You may remember I commented on this issue quite a bit at the time we were discussing which images to use. I thought we were going with a SL3 image mix.

I always preferred a Sub Level 3 image with Industrial touches, inside the chamber as it were, if we can cull one together. My reasons are simply, it's because that is where the Aliens were and it is more appropriate for backdrop poses.

I'm surprised to see that this alien comes with 2 sets of hands, wonder what's different between them.

Well, ultimately, there weren't enough shots of SL3 that fit together featuring the industrial elements, without marines or aliens blocking your main view of it. You take in the room as a whole as you watch the movie, but when you go through it frame by frame, it's tough finding ample clean plates to work from, even what I've done, I recycles elements simply because there weren't enough clear shots of the pieces that would fit together.
