Wow, pjam! I real working light in the shoulder lamp housing on the HT marines? I'd love to have that! I bet I could get some great pictures of them in low lighting with the shoulder lamps turned on. Do you think that Hurricane could really make those? If so, count me in for one for each of my marines! I think it would really bump up the authenticity of these great figures. :D

Down goes Dietrich! nIIIce!

Hey has anyone thought about having Hurricane install a white light source in the HT shoulder lamps?

YES! I mentioned that long ago in the original super-thread as part of a "wouldn't it be cool if" post along with the real "burning" flamethrowers... but seeing that Hurricane pulled off the laser sight I don't see why he couldn't do the lamps. There's not a lot of room to hide the bulb so he may have to remake the lamp housing, perhaps scale it slightly larger, but if anyone could do it...

That's a great idea, P! Since most of us have more than a couple marines, what we need is a mod kit that we can install ourselves. I don't think it would be that hard to do. The case could house the batteries and the plastic wiring could be replaced with a real wire that leads to a real lamp, replacing the dummy lamp. All we'd need is some sort of a switch mechanism and we'd have working lamps!

Maybe someone here (like Hurricane?) could design the basic features, then put together some upgrade kits, so people could order as many as they need? Just a thought.

I emailed Hurricane with a link to this idea....

And yes, I believe Wor-Gar DID mention this eons ago... and yes, Hurricane can do anything, dude is a genius...

Shoulder lamps should be easy to make. Put a 3mm LED, microswitch, and lithium battery inside the shoulder pack. It can be feasibly done for less than $10.

Rock on Dave. Very strange that Sideshow Gets the Aliens Warriors basically the same time as anyone else in North America, yet the Endoskeleton they get months after others have gotten it over here. I wonder how that works.

Got my notice too. Now I just gotta come up with the money... :doh

Who knows, but this is great news, thanks D. Getting mine from Adam, so I'll have to wait longer.

And MF, get that shooter ready Bro. We need a deluge of images from you.

This is about what I was thinking, too. If the parts could be put together in say a 3-pack for example, then all we'd need is a couple of packs to have everyone in the squad covered.

As long as we're talking light-up bits here...

Here's another thought -- how about a light-up tracker too? It could even blink to simulate the signal. Nice!

Another WG original idea, you rock!. Yeah, Hurricane can do that...

IMO, the optimum way to display our Marines with the Warrior is with a working shoulder lamp...

You could put a flashing LED in there too! The screen looks like it's transparent plastic.

Yep, exactly. There's plenty of reference to make a transparency of the screen.

If you had the lamps light-up and the tracker screen flashing, now that would make the marines come to life, right?

All that's left is a red LED light to make the digital ammo counter on the rifle light up.

I might be able to do at least the lamps. I'm wiring my T-1000 police bike now with LEDS. I had to send my Terminator stuff to Hurricane though because he is the best at this kind of thing.

Oh you know I'm on top of it. I'm just going to skip the box stuff though, we've already been there, time to get his bad boy into action :)
