You know what, I have to say, a testament to how fantastic the HT Warrior is from Aliens is the fact that in any lighting and any picture, it looks like the most badass thing ever; I think it would take great efforts to make this figure look bad under any photographic condition, and to me, that says a lot about how awesome it is because I've had a few figures where it took artistic lighting and camera angles to show it's finer qualities, but this one just comes out great all the time.

Agreed! Thing photos great.

Anyone looking for HIck, I just found a listing on ebay with a BIN for $200. Expensive, but the cheapest I have seen him in a long while on ebay.

Item number: 140151155425

Hoep this helps someone out.

BTW . . . I don't know this seller,and I am not the one selling it.

The new ALIENS game is being made by the same developers who did the WW2 FPS "Brothers in Arms". I didn't play that game but my brother did and said it was great and on par with reigning WW2 shooter Call of Duty. Brothers in Arms focused on team direction as well since you were a squad leader and directed your team around the enemy giving them orders such as offering suppressive fire on the enemy while you and another AI-controlled teammate would sneak around.

It'll be interesting to see if that comes into play as well. Especially with the Next-Gen graphics and great emphasis of detail on lighting and shadows, the game is sure to have a real creepy ambiance with enough places to make you jump if this developer does it right.

I still remember some parts in AvP2 (the game) that made me jump when I played through the first time as a marine. And even that motion tracker beeping like crazy when targets were coming in made it feel like you were in the movie.

Some magazine scans from my collection. I've posted Alien magazine scans in that thread.

"Is Star Wars fandom dead?" :lol

Viva Vasquez! I never realized sig was on the cover of Time. Kick ass, man. Great Collection there Batty. I'm extremely jealous. :monkey5 :monkey3

Awesome covers Batty! I have all of those magazines too...except the TIME magazine. What issue number is it? I want to try and find it on eBay. Post it here, as in what month in the year 1986 was that issue with Sigourney and the alien queen from? I think I see the month...July...and the year...1986. But I don't see what day in July...is it July 23? Let me know here, or send me a PM. Thanks! :D

Interesting, you put makeup on Sigourney Weaver, and she bares a resemblance to Gillian Anderson...SCULLY!!!!

Hey guys-I'm looking for a painted Hero Head for my HT Hudson. Can anyone help or point me in the direction of someone that has a few for sale for a reasonable price? It just feels weird with the head that looks nothing like Paxton.

I know a seller on eBay, Lonnie Hale, that sells them, and also great heads for Ripley, Hicks, and Apone. I got the "hero head" for Hicks and Apone from him. His eBay user ID is: tk570. Look for auctions on eBay under that user ID. I hope this helps you out! Here's the link to his eBay auctions now.

The "hero head" is nice. But I prefer the "Chronohead" from "figuremasterles" Les Walker. It's the best Hudson I've seen in my opinion. I got one. I painted it and I'll post some pictures of it here soon. Just take a look at the one Les has painted! WOW! Take care! :D

It's from July 28, 1986. Definitely worth picking up (I did an ebay search, but didn't see any listed). There's a 5 page article and review for the movie with a bunch of photos. They mention that Cameron was turning 32, and it made me feel old. :lol There's also a 2 page article just about Sigourney.

Thanks Batty! I'll search for it. I guess I missed that issue of TIME back in 1986. I was 15 and I saw it that summer in Houston at a big theater with my aunt. I absolutely loved it and went home and started sketching that picture of Sigourney on that Starlog cover you show, and one picture of her with Hicks and Vasquez that I still have to this day! Someday I'll dig them out of storage, and post pictures of them on this board. Thanks! :D

No problem! :duff

I'll keep my eyes open for another copy. I'm sure it must pop-up on ebay from time to time (no pun intended :lol).

HEY! All these covers ROCK! :rock

Have 'em all! In fact, being so old......I recall well the golden age of horror mags and the like!
Thank GOD for Forrest Ackerman and all those old mags!
Those were the bygone days! Famous Monsters of Filmland and Aurora Model kits! :rock Back when it was basic! And we were happy with every one! Wrong innacurate movie versions and all!
Now? It's got lights and whizbangs and still they correct them in customs form! :D

What a great time of innocence. :monkey3

But, anyway, love seeing all this old school love!
