Finished putting Reprolabels stickers for Slag. Recolored the head black and used metallic red for the eyes/visor and added gold color to the shoulder parts.

Not sure how I feel about those stickers on Scoria, to be quite honest. Just looks a bit TOO toyish for my tastes, but hey, if that's what you're going for, all the better.

Hopefully! But turning around and releasing this game just one year later doesn't leave a whole lot of room for improvement; that's doesn't even seem like enough time just to reskin the things with Transformers visuals and dialog. I do hope I'm wrong, but the very fact that Hasbro would take one look at a 5.5-scored game and say, "could you do that for us?" leaves me with little hope.

Yeah, I gotta say I'm with franpincho on this one. I still don't trust XTransbots to make a truly "masterpiece" quality figure. I don't care how nice they look - they've gotta have substance, too! (Like women, I guess.)

Waiting around for Takara to make "official" MP's like these is like watching the grass grow....honestly,3RD Party is doing what Takara ISN'T!

I am tired of waiting for their "slow" releases to happen.Some of us only have so many collecting years left...not sure I'll be collecting this stuff when in my 60's

Apollyon is not as bad as some are making it out to be and He stands just fine in my MP collection.Sure,maybe Takara could make one better (20 years from now) but this transxbots "Megatron" is the best Megatron to date regardless of how some think the "quality" is not there.Yes,it's a pain to transform and has fragile transforming parts,but it still stands tall in the MP collection

I'd gladly wait years for a proper MP TF if quality is guaranteed. Hell, I'll take a FT Megatron on day one of they were to release one.

Apollyon, while displays decent, just feels cheap, WAY cheap. Nothing compared to what TT, FT and maybe Giga can actually do. I've heard Badcube's quality is great too, but I wouldn't be able to say.

just got my quake wave yesterday wow is he ever awesome and heavy. I did some custom work on his arm by drilling the whole underneath his arm behind the switch. then put the electronics back to gather and closed the arm up. I have to get batteries to put in the arm hoping everything works. take pics later of him now he is shockwave.

People keep saying "never never never" and I really don't know why anymore.

Back when Hercules and Giant were being released (and that wasn't very long ago, mind you), we were all saying Hasbro would "never" make a proper combiner, much less Devastator, and now look.

Now, I realize that MPs are a different matter, but Megatron is still a BIG name, and the big names get big treatment. And besides, if Takara takes longer than a couple of years, FansToys will try their hand at it, no doubt. Or some other company. As corsair pointed out, we've got more choices than ever before when it comes to Transformers - and particularly Masterpiece-style Transformers - and you REALLY think other third party companies won't try to out-do XTransbots? Heck, Giga is taking on the FT Dibots, which are just about perfect in my and tons of other people's opinions. I don't think anyone's making Appolyon out to be a piece of crap or anything, but it's not getting Quakewave-style accolades by any means. Other companies KNOW a lot of people aren't satisfied by it.

At close to $600 (plus shipping and what have you) I'll stick with the TT one. Was never a fan of their Bruticus, so this is also an easy pass. Way too busy looking.

Why isn't FT taking a crack at this?

I honestly found this very disappointing. I don't feel like it hardly moves the needle at all from the other two 3rd party Devastators. It's bigger, but not enough to make in-scale with Masterpiece (even half-squated, Prime looks too big there). And once again, the individual robot modes stink in terms of looking much of anything like the characters; I can't even tell who half of them are supposed to be.

It looks good, but like I said, not that different from what's already brought to market. Hell, I'd call it a hybrid between Hercules and Giant.

I agree with Spanbauer in that it's almost a hybrid of Giant and Hercules.

It's not bad, but about 3 years too late, the real money for 3rd parties is now with Masterpieces, not Classics.

Fans Toys were specifically asked about combiners in an interview last year and said at that time they had no plans.

Their release schedule is already pretty packed eg,

Confirmed
Snarl
Perceptor
Reflector
Insecticons
Sludge
Grimlock

Teased
Skyfire
Blaster
Omega Supreme ( not sure if this was FT having a joke or not )

Snarl ships in a couple of weeks and Perceptor should be close behind it, Reflector and Bombshell should also make it out this year and Sludge and Shrapnel are currently listed as December releases but taking the usual delays into account will probably be closer to March

Which leaves Kickback and Grimlock to finish those teams off and still no figure designated as FT-10....one of the teased figures seems likely.

The Constructicons or Predacons to go up against the Dinobots would seem logical choices for their next team project.

I don't know what the heck happened, but after watching Jurassic World, I wanted to add the Fans Toys Dino's to my collection so I bought Scoria and Soar yesterday, PO'd Sever and Stomp last night....and sometime today, I ordered a DX9 Invisible and PO'd Fans Toys Tesla for some reason

I wish there was a good MP Blaster, I'm not a fan of the metallic paintjob on Transistor.

Transistor is pretty awesome and matches against Soundwave nicely....the metallic looks much nicer than a dull color I think
