Flash makes him look happier than he really is. Hes got a slight smurk on his face. Not sure if its the same facesculpt of MP11/Sunstorm or any of the MP3 mold faces.

I share your concerns over the Lambos but even if there's a noticeable difference a bit of creative posing should make things look OK or failing that just display them on a different shelf.

Yeah might have to go with the separate shelf idea if it comes to it.

Might consider doing that.
He hasn't been released in the UK yet so I will wait & see if we actually get him...if we do then I'll pick him up, if not then I will just stick to my MP07 release instead.

Prowl is a no brainer as Takara already have a relationship with Nissan from their use of the modern 350Z in the Alternity line.

Takara's deal with Lamborghini is apparently for 2 years and best of all, Sunstreaker will be an original mold and not a half assed Sideswipe repaint

Takara releasing Encore Dinobots = I'll finally have a chance to get a complete set without buying KO's or paying out for originals that are still in decent condition

According to the guy that passed on the info to me Sunstreaker will be released towards the end of the 2 year licensing agreement as Takara want to get some more heavy hitters out there first.

Prowl's design has apparently been modelled on a computer but nothing further yet.

I hope Takara do a variant Encore Swoop with a blue chest like the cartoon as I have the WST one and it looks great.

They'll never admit it officially but the 3rd parties have clearly given Hasbro/Takara the kick up the arse they needed although I don't expect every single Autobot car to be made officially as there's still a question mark over licensing for VW, Porsche, Lancia and Ligier that will likely prevent those being made....which is where the 3rd parties step in.

Got my iGear vans today and they are SWEET. Totally worth the wait.

Despite all the pics showing them as such, I was surprised at how BIG they were, too. And even though I was an early detractor of the whole "extra weapons" thing (assuming they added to the cost), I like all the gear.

What dont you like about MP-10? I never got MP-01 when it came out, and thought it looked awesome. Now that I have MP-10 and compare it against the MP-01, the mold itself is light years ahead in terms of how good it looks. I think the only negative is the smaller size. In my opinion, MP-10 just looks better in both robot and truck modes.

the ONLY negatives i know of with the MP-11 mold is the articulation restrictions on the legs, and his fixed posistion thumbs.

and I've since gotten over both of those.

Even though this is an old discussion now, I'm gonna chime in because I'm a big Faith Leader fan.

I'll use Tubes' pic here as a reference:

I have had the Igear (not) Ratched and (not) Ironhide in my possession for a few days now, and i must say the are among my favorites. These things are a must have for any fan of these two characters.

As good as this looks (though I agree Rodimus - at least in Hot Rod mode - is way too big), I think MP-10 here is just too wide in the shoulders. He's got these "heroic" proportions that I can totally appreciate, but I prefer the more realistic (or at least 'toon accurate) slender look of the MP-01 mold.

MP-10 just has too much of a comic-book look going on. Don't get me wrong, it still looks great, but given that I have a choice between the two I'll stick with my Faith Leader. The fact that he's a tad shorter than Grimlock rather than a tad taller is a bonus, too.

Ya know Faith Leader and Ultra Leader are two of my favorite figures. An all out great representation of Optimus and Magnus. They both guard my alarm clock. I see em every morning and every night last thing.

That said I have warmed up to MP10. Since he is being released here in the US for far cheaper Ive decided to get him. He colors really shine and that Alt mode is outstanding!

One of the most impressive pieces of the design is how big the robot mode is as the van/ambulance mode is so compact.

I'm also a fan of the transformation as it's one those that's just involved enough to be fun without being overly complex which means I remember it a lot easier

I like the options that all the extras provide, Ironhide's IDW heads are fantastic and his BFG's from the Bayformers incarnation of the character look great as well.

There's also some nice detail on Ratchet's tools and the 2 screwdrivers actually have different heads for different screw types....they probably could have got away with including 2 the same but I like the fact they went to the trouble of making them different.

Considering that iGear are a small company with limited resources I think that PP05 is an incredible achievement in the history of transforming robot toys especially when you look at how poor the official versions of the characters have been.
