Nah, it was from w/in the US. When the Quantum view was finally working it said the package had been rescheduled for the 19th. So I don't know what happened to cause that, but for now it seems things are moving along.

And I've only ordered the Gort and Kaatu, which was directly through AmokTime.

I don't remember exactly how tall they were...so I went looking for some movie stills...

From this page, when they are standing in front of the car they look like the 8" versions are about right (4 feet tall):

But scroll down further to where they are putting the head on one of them, it the look taller than that, particularly because the heads are so huge.

It's impossible to tell from this image, although the head is certainly huge in comparison to a person's:

Once we have them in hand, we'll be better able to tell if they are too short, but I'm thinking that at 8" tall total, they'll seem a good couple inches too short compared to regular sixth scale figures.

In the image, he is standing on a rock behind the woman, so I believe he is short. In the other image where they are putting on his head, he looks to be standing on a box or something; look at where his waist is compared to everyone else, and his legs look short (of what you can see). I think they were supposed to be short...

Yes, but you understand 8" means only four feet tall, which isn't just short, it's VERY short, particularly with the huge heads. It's all going to depend on the proportions of the final figures, so it's moot til we see them. I'm hoping they fit in well, obviously, but we'll have to see.

8" doesn't sound far off to me, but since i just got my shipping confirmation, i'll know in 2-3 days....

Hoping for 2, otherwise i'll have to wait until Monday...

I'm actually more curious about Hono... he looks a bit more interesting. Can already kinda tell how the zombie turned out from pictures.
