Ernest T. must look like Dr. Pretorius
Gloria Holden must be Dracula's Daughter
Lon Sr. must come with a make up case with all his goodies inside!:banana:banana:banana:banana

Received my NOTLD Cemetery Zombie last week and really like him. Only a few things I think could be better.

His suit is way too nice looking. In the film it is disheveled, dirty and ripped. The shirt collar is terrible, it is too big and...wonky. Looks bad with, or without the tie...tie!?! The Cemetery Zombie in the film was not wearing a tie. Why did they include one? To try and control the crazy collar, or for when he is regular old Bill? Either way, it should not exist and went straight into my junk box, no big deal, except now the collar went from wonky to super kooky.

Check places like Monkey Depot, eBay, etc. I imagine you could get a better 1/6 shirt for a couple bucks.

The bad thing about swapping it out is that it is true buttons. I tried my best to get one of the buttons undone but instead I ended up tearing the button off completely. I wish it was the snap stuff instead. Would make things much easier, even for weathering. This is one of the reasons I didn't bother weathering mine yet.

Oh, that's right. How odd to have a cheap collar, but go through the trouble of real buttons :lol

Oh and did I mention that it was impossible to swap the heads? Yep, I can't get mine off and the stand is cheap as hell. Mine is broke and amoktime has yet to respond to my email I sent on Saturday.

Michael Crawford suggested using hot water to soften the plastic enough to make the heads come off easier from the Amoktime figures. Don't have mine yet, but I would imagine that trick should work fine.

If you can get the clothes off to do it. The collar on that shirt is funky and will definitely get wet. I was gonna do that, but when I realized how big of pain it would be to get the clothes off, I just displayed him B/W.

I'm personally a fan of the hair dryer... takes a little longer, but you can get that sucker heated up and no water to mess with.

I prefer the hot water because it's faster, and I'm a tremendously impatient person. However, it does mean you need to remove the shirt, which means playing with those buttons. I could get mine off without damaging them, but for those with big fat fingers, it might be a problem.

I went back to B&W though for now, but once we get Barbra, I'm going to switch him to color so they match. I'm not thrilled with the funky collar on his shirt, but the rest of the outfit is extremely well tailored.

I'll have a review up of the Teenagers soon too.

I'll try that! I would much rather have the color version on him. I've already repainted his brows so I'm ready to go!

His suit is indeed well tailored, but is unfortunately too nice looking.

Sure I could replace the shirt, and dirty up the suit, but I shouldn't have to. I didn't buy the figure to customize.

What kills me about the upcoming figures is that Karen Cooper is 12". I can't bring myself to purchase her when she is so out of scale, and when I would prefer B&W. She could have been so extremely cool.

Well, all I have seen is a 12" figure. Maybe they will, or have, scaled her down by now. I can only hope that is/will be the case, but it states on their site that she is a 12" figure, and she costs the same as the rest of the 12" figures.

Do we know for sure that the figure itself will be 12", or will it be in the 12" "scale"?

I have seen the Karen Cooper in person and is 1/6th scale, at least 1 inch shorter than the 12 inch figures.

Naw, those are too short. Kyra Schon was around 10 or so in the movie. Since IMDB claims her adult height to be around 5' 9", which is above average for a woman, I'd guess her around 5' or just south of that by 10 or 11 years old. She needs to be around that 10" height, and Amok hasn't shown a body in that range yet.

But I can live with 11" better than I could live with 8". I think it's a common mistake for companies to scale down mathematically accurately, when the reality is that your *perception* of objects in relation to each other doesn't scale down the same way. As things get smaller, even minor differences in size seem magnified. Add in the fact that the Amok male bodies aren't 12" tall, but more in that 12 1/2" range, and I think something closer to 11" would be acceptable if not perfect.

Now, if we get her in hand and she's a full 12" tall, it's time to pitch a fit. And find another body to swap her to.
