How is someone supposed to "prove" an opinion? If lots of people hold an opinion, it becomes a shared opinion, sometimes it becomes a consensus opinion.

People sharing similar opinions on the internet does not make it hyperbole.

Personally, I truly feel that AOTC, was really bad. And is very awkward, particularly in scenes with either Padme or Anakin and especially in scenes in which they are both in it.

I love a good romance, and if you watch a recent film like the Keira Knightly version of Pride and Predjudice, you can see how a tense relationship can be portrayed (writing and acting).

Holding that opinion, but not able to accutely describe WHAT makes me hold that opinion doesn't mean I'm just holding that opinion for spite.

I don't happen to think the OT is significantly better acted than the PT, but I think the material is lighter and is allowed a little more flexibility there. TPM as well. But the weighty material in AOTC especially needed the acting to be a home run or atleast a solid double, but we got a ground out to short instead.

You can't have the main character tell his girlfriend he killed a bunch of people and that its all someone elses fault as if he was telling her about breaking his XBox.

This PF has a great amount of display versatility. You can display him:

1. With Anakin head, no cloak

2. With Anakin head, cloak on, hood down

3. With Anakin head, cloak on, hood up

4. With Sith head, no cloak

5. With Sith head, cloak on, hood down

6. With Sith head, cloak on, hood up

For a "statue" that's a heck of a lot of options. What a great piece.

That is a good point. Despite my feelings on Anakin as a character in AOTC and ROTS, I think the PF is really cool.

You guys will have a lot of fun with it.

Well said. I actually like the prequels pretty well, so I'm not bashing them. In fact, I find it annoying when people criticize them out of hand, and I think that's what D. Martin was reacting to. But you can't "prove" that a performance was bad. All you can do is state your opinion, and maybe give specific examples of what you didn't like. For me, I know that there are a number of parts -- mostly with Anakin and Padme -- where I end up squirming in my seat.

And while I'm posting, maybe I should be the first (?) to say that I'm not blown away by this piece. Something about the face seems off, although it could be the way it has been painted. It's WAY better than the 12" Anakin, but that doesn't make it perfect.

I though Hayden's acting was good, Portman sucked big time, Jar Jar was an MFer, The emperor and Obiwan where great in the films. Dooku Mace, also good.

Other then that I liked the PT's I kinda of burnt out on the OT been watchibg it for 30 years, thats why I prefer PT characters in PF. The Only OT PF's that we need are Chewy, The Droids and the Troopers, a Sandpeople PF would be cool. Be bring on the PT.

I'll admit to owning AOTC even though I don't like the film as a whole.

There are certain scenes, such as the Arena fight, that I like and will watch on occassion as well as watching certain scenes to work on character poses and dioramas.

I like the toys from AOTC and the merchandising stemming from AOTC, Clone Wars, Battlefront, etc more than AOTC itself. So owning AOTC for those reasons more than to watch it over and over again.

AOTC is my absolute least favorite of all six, but I still like it pretty well. I've never been able to quite put my finger on what I dislike about it, something just feels off.

I'm really looking forward to this PF-- having just acquired the Han Exc. PF the circle for me really is NOW complete.

I wonder how much influence this production shot had on Trevor's headsculpt. It seems to match the PF more than that other shot of him holding the saber down.

Trev and co. really did a great job.

yeah. if i had the money and space i'd buy two of them. put sith and jedi verison on display.
