I doubt it. In the end will it effect how much you like the piece?
yes. i cant have any collectibles with an edition size over 500. its an outrage. it changes everything. id never be able to look at the piece again knowing that more than 500 other collectors have the same one.

Yes it will. And I've said this before,I don't want something that everyone and their mother has.It is one of the key element's in collecting.Im not alone on this issue.

Then you must be a very unhappy collector or someone with a small collection. I've got items that have an ES of 10k that I like as much as I do items with an ES of 500. The # I get or the amount made only factors in little. I base my buying on how the item looks and how badly I want it. I don't give a crap how many others have it honestly. That's just me though.

The backstage is now available :monkey5

I can sort of understand the appeal of having something that only a few other people have, but to me the only really important thing is whether or not I like the piece. I've read posts where people indicated that they bought something that they didn't really like very much just because it had a low edition size, and that's just crazy.

I wish those pics I was looking at was a 1/6th figure.

They do need to make changes to accurately reflect the actual outfit.

The robe's material should be used for the tunic instead.

Like Darklord Dave said.

I'm psyched for this one. I haven't been too keen on a lot of the PFs they announced recently, but this one will go nicely with my other Sith PFs.

This is going to look nice next to my PF Maul. Was it confirmed already that the saber will not light up?

Anakin Skywalker is sold out

It will light up:

The figure features an electronic light-up lightsaber effect, glowing bright blue, and each base is individually hand-numbered.

What I want to know is whether or not it will feature an option for using a power cord or only batteries like Maul. Ben and Vader are inside a locked cabinet with outlets inside and an exterior switch that turns their sabers on and off. Maul doesn't light up very often because without that feature, I have to get the key and unlock the cabinet, slide open the door, reach around inside the display and manually turn him on (and then off again later). I keep the thing shut and locked and turn the lights on with the power switch, so if Anakin only runs on batteries he will join Maul in not lighting up very often.

I hope we will see the edition size announced tonight. It was a pretty good exclusive and a popular piece, so I am thinking that my guess of 1000-1250 might have been too conservative. Maybe I should have guessed closer to 2000.

I hope they give the option for both like with Ben and Vader. I don't use the plug in feature but its nice for those that do obviously.

I didnt even put batteries in any of mine because I am afraid of them corroding.

C'mon ya gotta enjoy your collectibles. When it comes down to it they're just materialistic things that don't truly matter.

Stick batts in them and watch the light show!!

I still don't see Hayden, but I think it might be the paint. Have they posted this unpainted?
