ANH Han Solo - Official picture thread

Got 5 regular Han Solos (i have a store). All had the wrong blaster. They all have the Greedo Killer instead of the regular one. Anybody else with that problem?

I got the regular a few weeks ago and i thought he had the wrong blaster but i'm not sure which is which. Mine has the longer silver barrel.

I don't actually know which blaster is which is the exclusive, should have a look into it.

Regular ANH Blaster:

"Greedo Killer":

The exclusive comes with both weapons. The regular should have come with the regular blaster (The Greedo Killer is only in 1 Scene, when Han killed Greedo...). On all official pictures, even on the box the regular has the right blaster. But it seems that all regular figures have been delivered with the wrong one... the Greedo killer.
As you can see the regular version is significantly different than the GK. A different barrel and scope are the 2 most obvious difficulties.

Mistake of Sideshow. Especially because i like the reg version of the blaster much more than that Greedo Killer thing.

Is there a chance to ask someone at Sideshow for a replacement Blaster?

Well, I'll be damned. You're right. I just checked my regular edition Han and he has the Greedo killer. I put it in his holster when I got him and never looked at until now. I already have the regular Han blaster with the Bespin Han figure, so I actually have both versions now. Good for me, but kind of a big mistake for Sideshow to make.

I am sorry that i have to tell you that you still have not the regular ANH version of the blaster. The Bespin Han comes with the Bespin Han Blaster. It has again a difficult (all silver) barrel and the very short scope:

Oh yeah... Bespin Han came with the ESB blaster. Considering I own the Master Replicas version of Han's ANH blaster, you'd think I would notice things like that. But when it comes right down to it, I don't really care that much about which blasters I have for my figures. It's more the principle of the thing -- you should get what's advertised.

That superaccurate item-replications of Sideshow is the thing that makes the series so perfect for me. I might send them a mail about a replacement.

Slightly off topic but here's a pic of my "semi-custom" Endor Han. It's a Bespin Han with an Endor Commando Sargeant trenchcoat and a ANH Han Solo vest. The belt is from Monkey Depot.

Newbie here.

You know, I suspect that the Bespin Han probably started out as the ROTJ Han and must have been changed after the headsculpt was already done. I only recently started collecting these guys, and Bespin Han looks so waaay off! But that bloated chin and slight smirk is more like the slightly overweight Harrison that ended up being the comic relief of ROTJ. They started the line with ROTJ Luke, so it would make sense that they would have followed up with Han from the same movie, not to mention the Endor troops and Boushh.

Dunno. Anyone know if I'm totally off base here?

At any rate, it's just an atrocious figure.

It's not atrocious. I actually think it's better than the ANH version, which really shocked me. The ANH version seemed so promising, but it didn't come together very well in the execution.

Thanks abake. I agree Bespin Han's pretty bad. Honestly, it's almost out of character for Sideshow! All the rest of their line is great, if not at least passable. But Bespin Han's sculpt stands out like a sore thumb! Okay maybe Yavin Luke is equally bad, but most are really quite exceptional.

However since Han's my favourite character, I had to get him. I'm just starting this collecting thing, and my first order was for Indy, but the first figure I got was ANH Han. I was so impressed by the quality of the figure that I got obsessed with all things Sideshow! So far I only have 4 (Han, Boushh, Anakin and Maul). But I have 2 more on the way (including Bespin Han) from Ebay and 4 others on pre-order!

And I owe it all to Han!

Out the packet I'd agree, but with a few minor tweaks the sculpt really shines.
Delete those eyebrows!!

Hey, I also dig my ESB Han, but I can see the possibility that he did start out as a Jedi Han. The Head sculpt is very ROTJ.
