Being a celebrity may have its perks, but as Jason Bateman learned, that’s not always a good thing.

The actor was one of more than 2,000 people who lined up outside an Apple store in L.A. yesterday to purchase the highly coveted new iPhone 4. But the Hollywood star didn’t spend much time among the little people – Us Weekly reports that the former “Arrested Development” star, 41, was escorted out of line and into the store.

“Everyone literally started booing and hissing,” an eyewitness told the magazine of the angry mob. And Bateman’s reaction? “He put his head down,” another onlooker said.

Not all were so lucky. I persoanlly know some "celebs" who were not give that treatment and some non celebs that were given that treatment, but then they did just put in a HUGE order from the apple store weeks before for all new systems and also new phones for all the employes. Then there was one who thought she could just walk in an get one even though she had no reservation, and they said nope.

No problem with antenna reception here...I have tried everything to lose a bar and it never happens....which is good.

Phone is so fast and looks amazing.

Just called the facetime thing. It was pretty cool. It only got a little choppy for a second and them it was smooth. Again pretty cool.

Ugh. I've been having problems with iTunes for the last couple of days, most likely the Apple servers are fired with people sending anonymous data. Anyone get theirs from Best Buy yet? I don't want to call over yet again but I'm getting antsy.

My mom and sister had a heck of a time backing up there phones with Itunes so yeah its an issue.

I tried to "not" sending the data to Apple and sync and back up that way but it kept giving me strange errors so I turned it back on. I even tried Apple's solution of deleting your old backups in case of a corrupted backup (which can happen when you jailbreak) and still nothing. I tested it on my iPad to not totally bone myself with the iPhone but its still hasn't sync'd. It was working overnight for at least 10 hours only to have an error that said the iPad disconnected even though it showed they were paired. Many online are saying its a contacts thing but who knows.

Or I should say my wife got it. They called my from the Beverly Center and since she works in Cedars Sinai I asked her to pick it up for me.
