What's to applaud? Like I said the clique is strong in here. I do probably get in the most arguments here other than Plissken but that's usually because a lot of the so called "real fans" act like smug elitists. From now on I won't help anyone who gets ganged up on because nobody here helps me out but a lot of these guys aren't even really liked amongst these forums.

Every time one of these big arguments happen my message box gets filled with messages from other members who look at this thread but don't participate pretty much letting me know they stay out of this thread because they don't want to deal with these "real fans".

Some of them act like MGS isn't even a game but a religion. Guys like jack, Henry, Furyan, and even Gaspar get ganged up on in here all the time for being excited about a game.

And then you have other members here who encourage it, do you even know why Dylan had me on ignore? Well, let me tell you before you applaud his awesome non totally truthful post.

For no reason a member or troll came to these boards and Dylan's throwing my name around for no reason while I had nothing to do with it. So of course I'm going to retaliate with an insult.

Honestly I post news here and I discuss the game, I don't just drop in here to say "Kojima sucks" and "this game blows".

Either way the game is going to be great, and sorry if some of our excitement for it bothers you guys. I'm sure you guys will buy the game on release or close to it and collect every damn figure and wait online all day to get it signed by Kojima and then come on here and whine that Kojima is a stuck up loser.

Seriously Jack's opinion isn't as valid as Solidus' because he's younger? Henry corrects Solidus on a statement he makes about MGS2 and all hell breaks loose, Gaspar jokingly saids we have a little group now and he gets attacked for it.

Seriously how old are some of you guys?

I'll stop being a "white knight" as Solidus likes to call me, and everyone can get ganged up on by these "real fans".

It's so hard to believe that we were actually getting along so well for the past few weeks. Here's a suggestion: if you don't like it here, you're free to leave. There are other places on the net to discuss MGS that may better suit your needs - because you usually bring nothing to the table other than to rage and perpetuate arguments - always acting like the victim. Please stop blowing a gasket for the silliest of reasons.

I wonder how long it will take for TPP to come out? Maybe if its a really long time, then it wont be such a bad idea in getting the Ground zero to hold you up? At the moment it seems a bit overpriced for what it is, but depending on the replayabilty of it will determine its value. Either way, seems like bad precedence starting the new generation of gaming.

Rumor has it that it would take at least a year or more, and you're right, it is overpriced. I'm confident that the gameplay would turn out to be sublime and there seems to be plenty of replay value for the side missions, but the game isn't immune to deep concerns because Konami could have found a better way to set a price for this. In the age of Facebook, Kojima has been playing juvenile cryptic games with the fans since "Project Ogre", and a good portion of his creative decisions have been under fire by long time fans, it's either sink or swim for MGSV now.

Thats all you can say because everything I posted was true. What the hell do you do here? You make threads about Kiefer Sutherland just so you can bash the guy.

Yea, I start silly arguments here because I believe some members here aren’t allowed to have an opinion on MGS because they aren’t old enough :slap

Get real man, everything I posted was true, which is why you responded with your usual statement.

You need to stop whiffing whatever it is you're smoking :lol. Have a nice day, Mr. Keyboard Warrior.

Everyone keeps saying this, but looks at where we are in gaming now. Games that are a step above a beta being released at full price with patches being promised. Capcom already has forced people to pay for the ending to games, and so has EA. Whole storylines being lifted from games and sold as DLC or parted out as exclusives to a certain retailer. Online passes being used to lock out content. And while we may complain, it continues, and most of us still participate in it. But Kojima, selling what even he calls a prequel, and not for full price mind you, is the new low point? That is going too far? 2K releasing Battlefield 4 and 2k14 while they are unplayable was a bad precedent. Next Gen launching with no great exclusive games set a bad precedent. Until this releases we really have no clue what this is.

They just keep digging that hole they're in deeper :rotfl which games was that in? Asura's Wrath?

Ughh. There's one way to settle this. Peace Walker deathmatch. The online community is surprisingly active right now.

I'll get started on PW this week :lol. Gotta get those trophies before the online disappears for good (which it may with the release of GZ).

:goodpost: :exactly: :lecture

Battlefield and NBA2k are 60 dollar games that are barely playable. This game at 30 dollars seems fair from all the previews and word of mouth.

You have to understand, Kojima was once upon a time, one of the most respected man in videogames. Not only that, he does seem like a guy who loves his fans, and tries very hard to please and intellectually stimulate them in a way only he know how. To compare him to EA or Capcom was unimaginable at one time, but it's sadly becoming all too real. I love Kojima, I used to summon the word "genius" whenever someone criticized him, but nowadays I find it something very difficult to do. Deep down I'd like to believe he's a man desperately trying to escape his own creation.

I've seen you on that for days now, I need to start that again.

Been chasing the plat and fighting those crazy Japanese. I swore they're using a mouse to aim. :lol

If you feel like it, let's all do some multiplayer someday. :duff

You'll cut the amount of time to plat in HALF with a partner, I'm just glad my buddy is starting over just like I am. Those camaraderie points are insanely time consuming, and it will deduct your points if you play with too many people. :slap

ZOE3 was going to happen, but I think Konami axed that because it's not on the same level of sales that MGS is and MGS is their last horse they have to run.

I might start campaign tomorrow, I've been bored out of my mind since I haven't gotten a new game in awhile and that would be a good distraction. Me, you, and Solidus should do campaign and get raped in MP :lol

He should make a new IP if he leaves MGS. A ZOE sequel wouldn’t make sense if he has something to prove.
