Arghhh, New Hot Toys- Captain Jack sculpt revealed me hearties

I agree that Medicom definitely did a better job on the coat. i would hate the chocolate brown as well I even prefer my 12" Sparrow figure's coat from Zizzle. The likeness wasn't all that bad either if I may add especially for the $10 I paid for it, just needs repainted and put on a better body.

Medicom's also had a nicer texture, Jack's coat is very rough and textured, the HT coat was a bad color, bad material and not the best tailoring either. Aside from the sculpts, the coat was the only other big improvement I wanted to see over past Sparrows. So far, I'm happy with that, now just hoping they'll have at least fixed the coat too, any other improvements would just be a bonus.

Hmmm... I would assume a fixed neck body like the Ezio; but not a full muscular.

Muscular body (IMO) would be too limiting with what will already be a fairly restrictive outfit.

I'm hoping they go for maximum posability, but it seems like Indy's on a muscle body and he shows no more skin than Jack, so I'd think whatever Indy gets Jack probably will, though it seems like Jack's body has Slim proportions, so maybe it's something new and unique.

Likely as soon as full body shots show and people can see how well HT did or didn't do.

To me, considering the cost of figures and how many figures Hot Toys nails so well in every detail (Barney Ross, T1 and T2 T-800), getting a completely wrong color on something as prominent as a full length coat would just be a head scratcher.

I used to think that sculpt was amazing like everyone else, but now, it's nice, but the space between his eyes and chin seems really stretched out.

Actually, like what some of the other guys are saying, surprisingly in hand it does. Specially with proper lighting highlighting the cheekbones, eyes, etc. It looks a lot like Depp.

I think they did the Godfather somewhat. There was a Godfather war between HT and EB which ended up both being winners!.
