Loving all these pics, folks! Really hoping I can pick this set up soon. Fingers crossed the Money Fairy leaves a brick of cash under my pillow soon!

But I still can't help kind of wishing that they could have offered the choice of a steed with non-articulated legs. Neck and head articulation is great, but the leg articulation seems to be causing a lot of issues. Everybody's got different taste, but for me, I don't need the legs to move. It's cool to have the option of displaying the horse rearing up, but I'd rather have a solidly balanced steed with all four feet on the ground that I could mount the Wraith on without having to worry. (And without the exposed joints.) Just my two cents.

My horse and rider finally arrived today!

EDIT: Only 2 broken pieces on the Nazgul and a detached head and light switch on the steed! :rock :lol

The horse looks kind of drunk, like he needs to be leaned up against a wall lol. I think the articulation of the hooves just makes it look very awkward when you're trying to stand him straight.

Asmus released the same horse unflocked for separate sale, no? I wonder if those had the same issues? I'm glad to have an articulated steed, even if it came out wonky - a better stand would've been good though in compensating for the poor stability. Mine now keeps a stable neutral pose after chocking up the legs.

A clear rod stand of 2 heights (one for standing all 4 and one for hind legs ) the tallest having a pivot with a hole in the steeds stomach would have been a better choice as well as straight legs and flat feet, the flexi stand is awkward to hide and a bit unstable

Yeh, that would've been a good solution. I haven't used the stand, but in some pics it makes the steed look very well endowed.

Spent some time this past weekend "futzing" my Nazgul. Discovered his left foot was broken -- only checked the right because that's where everyone was having the problem. The ball joint is glued in the socket and the foot just came right off. Will need to repair that somehow -- may need to replace the entire foot.

That said, completely redressed the Nazgul and kind of reinvented the way the outfit is supposed to work. Tried to get it to look more like the movie outfit. For instance, those drab little thin strands that hang from the hood -- they need to be longer, wider and attached to the hood better, like its the hood wrap hanging down. Also, the two-set of odd ripped open sleeves -- ripped open right up to the shoulder on both the cloak and inner robe. Creates a lot of bulk for no good reason. Also, I just don't like the "spoon head" thing. Good idea, and it works -- except I want to reshape the hood entirely -- its too pointy, the opening too narrow, and that weird head only gets in the way.

Anyway, for the few people that still like this figure, I'll try to post a how-to later in the week if anyone is interested. Meantime, here's a teaser...

He's still drying from heavy water treatment and I still have a lot of small detail work to do -- wrinkles, folds, get the right posture, etc. This picture is actually from yesterday's futzing... and since then I have reworked the hood to where I want it and trimmed the too-long robes.

Very good shapes and silhouette. Much more movielike.

Nice mod. Yeah, the feet are apparently problematic.
I used a broken one to make a new Nazgul after I received my replacement parts.
Still going to remake the belt

Wor-gar....nice pics and futzing. This piece is awesome. If I didn't already have the Sideshow PF, this would've been an insta-buy for me. Regardless, I still feel like I should pick it up at some point :lol

Regarding the hood, perhaps some of you could try Seb's technique which was to use a bit of glue and water shaped around a random head. Once dry, the hood holds its shape. He's a magician, I know, but it's worth a shot. Here's his:

I'm not sure how I feel. The figures seem flimsier than witch King and the steed has such poorly positioned legs.

But after working on them they look cool.

The horse looks like he's doing his business lol.

I like the look of the steed. It just seems to be difficult to get it to stand in a good position.

I wonder if it would be worth the trouble to try gluing the legs in position and sculpting over the exposed parts of the joints. Then repainting and reflocking the legs. Though, if you can't find exactly the same kind of powder they used, you might have to reflock the whole horse.

Hmm ...

Thank you!

Does anyone here have a picture of the difference between WitchKing armor and regular Nazgul armor?

Pics of the difference between the ACI armors would work too.

Its the same armour, only difference is that the WK has the crown/helmet and the shoulder armour. I've compared i

No, I meant in the movies. WK is different from the other Nazgul. ACI seems to have this correct and their reg Nazgul armor is very rare.

I was curious what the actual ref difference was. J&B posted the diff foot armor in the ACI thread if you're curious.
