I believe the sword was only missing from the combo set. I got the combo set and the sword was missing from mine. I messaged Asmus on Facebook and sent them my info and got the sword within a few weeks.

That is really strange. You did get both horse and Nazgul, right? Did you PM Asmus thru this site as well as contacting customer service? Hope it shows up for you.

thanks Wor-Gar - I emailed them directly, and they replied too. The awesome extra body deal might be a good opportunity to finally secure it :)

Does anybody have this problem on their Nazgul leg armour:

Does anyone have any pics comparing this next to either SS maquette, or SS/W RWOS?

Can the Nazgul steed pose like this? I'm thinking about investing in one, or are the problems/issues with it bad enough to wait for a new version?

Don't think the Nazgul steed will hold that extreme pose for long. You would have to use the arm that came with the horse -- but it is a poseable arm which weakens its own sturdiness and it ultimately gives way over time. The legs on many horses were too close together to keep a good balance, so any shaking could bring it crashing down.

Hopefully this new horse will be improved in stance and a better "arm" for posing.

Thanks for that info :hu5: They are confirmed to be working on a new steed?

There's a new steed with Mouth of Sauron, but no one from Asmus has specifically said whether that's the same old steed or an upgraded version. If it's improved I'm sure they will say it when the official preview comes in August.

This was as close as I could get, but as stated its relies on the stand and the stand will hold for a couple of days then give way without warning

That pose looks quite nice! I think given how this horse is built, the best solution for these types of poses is a super sturdy stand that will hold up to any permanent weight bearing.

Any new horse Asmus comes up with will have to have very tight joints and an appropriate weigh bearing.
