yeah i just soak it with cold water and shape the cloth the way i want it to be, when it drys it will stay that way.

yea the joints are weak and the whole thing is just sooooo light

however i REALLY love the layering of the clothes, its perfect

but since it looks super amazing, i'm gonna keep it. just wouldn't play with it very often lol

Thanks! Overall I'm very happy with it. I hope it doesn't take too long to get here.

Finally a review on the Nazgul. Very helpful, thank you.

I suppose the floppy body will work seated on the steed hunched over. No one will know it's really 'flopped' over. :lol

After seeing this figure next to the Morgul Lord I see that this figure would look too repetitive for my shelf as a stand-alone figure. So if I keep my order, it has to be combo Nazgul + Steed.

Same for me. I'm still on the fence, the paypal page is still open. The invoice is 6 days old, I guess I should decide in the next 24 hours.

i agree - i kinda regret not getting the steed! for those who are gonna buy it, i recommend getting the steed as well, it will look much better!

I have all 4 figures released so far. 2 of them, the Witch King and Guritz the body is useless. Gandalf will hold a pose but just barely. Only Gothmog is good. This loose body QC issue is rally get annoying.

I don't have any of them because I'm put off by this problem. I feel I shouldn't have to get a new body for ever figure that needs it just to make the figure better. ASMUS should have better QC. :(

The 2 that I mentioned? Will not hold any pose with the arms up. To the side or straight out front it doesn't matter. And that's not even holding a weapon.

ETA ok that's weird. Could have swore I was quoting Super Doug. That was who my post was meant for.

I know there was a decent amount of issues with the witch King but my held a pose with the sword up outstretched for weeks on end now my luck with sturdy SS bodies has been the opposite and my Hot Toys wolvie has weak ankles so it's strange that for once I ended up with sturdy bodies.

No news on mine shipping from Urban Samurai yet but their estimate was near the end of January for my Nazgul and steed.

Regarding the body - your mileage may vary. I have all of the figures and aside from some loose legs on the Morgul Lord the bodies have been fine. Even the aforementioned Morgul can hold his sword up with no problem.

My WK holds his poses very well, so I don´t think it was an issue for everyone. Still , brings quality control to question

My Witch King holds his sword up high no problem and I was also able to position his other wrist such that he can hold that giant mace up off the ground with one hand (not very far off the ground mind you because of the length of the chain and size of the end bashing-bit but it looks like he is readying to wind up with it).

I have no issues with my WK body but I didn't take his clothes off. I think the electrical tape sent a lot of people into a frenzy - bashing the body without having it in hand and actually posing it. My only minor complaint is the elbow armor hinged things pop off a lot due the sleeves bunching up when posing him but they have not broken and pop on again easily enough.

My wife even got super drunk one night and decided that she suddenly wanted to play with him for a while. I was quite upset but even after being wo-manhandled for a while, he held up nice. She poked herself on his helmet and started bleeding so he got his revenge.

My WitchKing is super floppy, so I'm waiting for the replacement body with Eowyn. My Gandalf is nice and solid. Guritz is weak-jointed but serviceable. (I haven't got room to display him yet, so I haven't futzed him properly. I will probably end up changing the body out at some point.) As for Gothmog, the body was solid, but I hated the design of it. The lack of articulation really killed it for me, so I swapped that one out for a generic body that works a lot better.

So I'm in the neighborhood of 1.5 for 4 at this point.

But I'm cutting them a fair amount of slack, though, since they're such a young company. Hopefully they start getting a handle on this issue soon, though. At some point I'm going to start losing a little patience ...
