Haven't been able to get into this one as much as the others. The naval missions are the best part of the game IMO. Although the engine is new its basically the same mechanics. Needs to be fresher if they are to continue this series.

Exactly im half way though the game have no desire to play it .

Me as well. When I got Dishonored, I could not put that game down...played it 3 times back to back. I have more desire to play that again than continue with this. I hope that feeling changes though...I really enjoyed Brotherhood and Revelations.

was the one i found
The Gadsden flag is considered one of the first flags of the US before being replaced by our current Stars and Stripes.
Ive no idea at all about US history. I dont even know my own countries! My brain just switches off.

Beat it, trading it in to best buy. Sadly, I too have no desire to do all the side missions.

No thats actually a real political cartoon from back in the day.

The "Don't tread on me" flag wasn't a political cartoon as far as I'm aware. I think it was just a flag.

"Join or Die" was a political cartoon drawn by Ben Franklin, and later made into a flag ...

Craig Ferguson actually has it as a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm ...

Interesting.
I couldnt get into Dishonored at all. Just can't connect with it.

AC3 I'm loving. I'm just roaming around the wilderness, exploring, doing side missions and collecting things. One day I'll get around to the story :D

Yes sir you are correct. Another interesting tidbit is that it is part of the Army Drill Instructor Identification Badge. Along with it is "This we'll defend." I received a proper education on the subject while in the push-up position.

this game is a half and half for me. at times i love it, then it goes annoying again. i hate the boring long distances in the hunting region but i love the graphics and the fast travel options. combat is a little more difficult cuz i haven't figured out how to lock on an enemy in particular or counter as exact as in the previous games.
i am enjoying thus far the liberation for vita. fresh stuff such as having three persona options each with own properties. definitively taking advantage of women skills lol.

there isn't an option to lock on to an enemy anymore. Connor just automatically enters a fighting stance so you dont have to keep holding the lock and counter buttons anymore

For anyone in the US who doesn't have it yet, Wal-Mart will have it for $39 on Black Friday. I was actually going to pick up my copy from GameStop today, but I just decided to have them transfer the 5 bucks to GTA V. If I'm going to be spending 30 bucks on a season pass, I'd prefer not to be paying the full 60 on top of that.

Just beat it. Took my time and did most of the sidemissions throughout playing the core missions all at 100% sync and while I do have complaints, they are more so regarding the bugs (which have been discussed here) and the storyline (especially the ending, but I won't spoil anything). The gameplay and missions I thought made this a very good game. It SHOULD have been a great game, but there were enough bug and issues with the engine that frustrated me enough to admit it isn't GOTY quality. Which is a shame. However, I loved being a part of big moments during the Revolutionary War (felt way more relatable than Altair or Ezio's time periods). Playing as Haytham and Connor was a unique aspect of this game and made the assassin/templar relationship more interesting. Connor was a beast...I loved his aggressive, brutal fighting style and the rope dart and tomahawk are the best side weapons in the series imo.
Was a bit underwhelmed by the two final "boss fights", without getting into details. I know they were going for dramatic effect, but I would have rathered stand-up fights to prove who was the better warrior. But both fights (Haytham and Lee) result due to circumstance with every body jsut fighting injured and hindered in some way. Felt like Connor should have humiliated both of them with his superior fighting skills and heart.
Apparently there are missions to do after the credits, so maybe I'm not as done as I thought. I miss the warpaint...but I guess since he's no longer at war it makes sense.

This game is so ****ing annoying. I hope this is the last game if they are going to continue with this.

I was just doing a "chase" i did about 13 laps of new york for nothing chasing the guy.

1) he was faster than me
2) he kept throwing coins to slow me down with the crowd
3) id start randomly running up buildings or fences
4) id auto-mele fight stance when running past enemies

had to rage quit that ****

Dude...it took me like two times to see his route..then I went my own way (when he first turns into the alley in the beginning) I went straight and met him at the other side. Don't know why you are stressing out.

Got a 100% sync on it too like my third try because I jumped off a sign onto him.

EDIT: Got the chase confused. But I had no issue chasing Hickey. That one is even easier than the one I'm talking about. And if you are raging now, wait til you have to run down Charles Lee lol.

I haven't had any problems like that, it's definitely possible to catch the guy, got 100% sync as well. I think you might need to update your Assassin skills :lol

I'm actually really enjoying this game, I'm surprised to see so many negative comments. Then again I've barely come across any glitches or problems. The naval missions are fantastic , I love the open world , hunting is fun , the homestead was a great idea imo and Connor is my favorite character from this series so far.

I've never been a massive AC fan but I love this one.

Don't follow him , learn his route and go around another way to cut him off. Focus on him and then take him down.

I might try again tomorrow if i can be arsed. I did start to change route and id end up going out of range or start to mele with bad guys. There should be a button that initiates the climb instead of it being the same button as run. Same for combat. You shouldnt auto-battle stance just because you are near by. I didnt mind thoes problems in the past few games because i actually liked the character and settings. I dont like to let it slip in this game because its rather dull.

The only time i really enjoy it is when im near a river and theres stepping stones, broken logs and such because it looks so nice i just want to walk around.

Yeah the Thomas Hickey chase was kinda annoying. But like others have pointed out,you can take shortcuts to get to him once you've learned his route. But yeah even that will be kinda hard if he is way ahead of you.
