I just finished the main story. Overall, for my first AC game I have to say I liked it quite a bit.

I wonder if it's worth it to go back to ACI or just jump to ACII which seems to be highly acclaimed?

for me ACII is better than III and the first .. it's just That Good And enjoyable ! and it starts where ACI finished "Obviously"

you won't regret getting ACII

That was an awful idea in the first place, the hood is iconic.

You'll still get to have his hood down at the homestead anyway.

If you have the time, please read it. I can use advice on how to improve as a writer. I'm always trying to get better because I used to write exclusively about sports. Anyway, in regards to ACII and ACIII, I also feel ACII is still the top gam with ACIII taking second-place. The main thing for me was the story was tighter and flowed more. It also benefitted from being the first sequel, so people were thrilled it wasn't boring like the first one. Now, ACIII had so much hype that it was never being measured against the first AC it was always being measured against ACII. The second game took everybody by surprise, especially that ending. Element of surprise and shock value have since been gone as everybody is constantly expecting those mind-blowing moments in each game, but nothing has lived up

As for my thoughts on the mohawk vs. the hood, stay with the mohawk. From my review:

On a sidenote, I really appreciated Connor’s transformation both mentally and physically. He clearly grew as a character as the story progressed from a hot-headed rebel to a wise warrior. Even when he was enraged by what was being done to his people, he learned to be level-headed and to begin seeing the bigger picture of his actions. Also, after being betrayed by his father and George Washington, Connor embraces his spiritual warrior within by donning a mohawk and warpaint. Considering that he’s the only Assassin we played as that literally faces the decimation of his entire race, it was nice to see him take on these tasks at the end as a Native American warrior first and an Assassin second. He simply had more at stake given the circumstances over Altair or Ezio.

After what happened to his people, his first priority, he should sport the mohawk and the whiners should move on.

No,once you complete the game, Connor never puts his hood back up.

Awful idea by Ubisoft.

now I will start the game The Way It's Meant to be Played.
love how I can hook up my wireless xbox 360 controler to my pc.
I am sure for GTA 5 I will be getting pc version for sure.

Nope , it won't matter . This is a whole new story with a new main character .

You should be able to jump right into it with no problems.

I do recomend you read in the story a bit to get a sense of The Templars vs Assassins .

omg ! AC3 running on directx 11 looks unreal.
got all the graphics on all of them and the game is running at 90frames steady. jesus this looks amazing.

glad I got the pc version. puts the console version to shame.

That sounds cool. Is there a special adapter that allow you to do that? Sorry it's been years since I played video games so I dont know a lot of the tricks.
