Thank you, good sir!I found Unity's story to be the weakest in the series, 2nd only to AC3.
I will not waste my time on this then.

I'm at chapter 7 and is much better than AC4 and 3 combined
Including AC3's story in the combination is a negative.
I didn't mind 4 but wasn't so hot on it either
I think unity is better than both and feels more like an AC game, hopefully they patch some of the problems soon
There hasn't been much character development though I will agree with that!
I don't like the fact for the legacy items you need to do the initiative stuff but there is no initiative stuff ready yet
And more than half [close to 75%] of the Legendary gear is still locked because of "Club Challenges" which aren't even out either.
I'm dying to play this game on my PC. I actually have the graphics maxed and I'm getting a smooth framerate. My problem is the during the cinematics the audio is almost completely muted for some reason. Really kills the experience. I'm hoping they'll have the app and initiates fixed by Thanksgiving and I'll play then as it was meant to be played.
Free Games and DLC for ACU owners as an apology from Ubisoft!
Ubisoft Apologizes for Launch Issues, Offers Free DLC - IGN
On disc DLC I bet
Far Cry has Single player Main missions cut and put into the Season Pass DLC..... very naughty
I haven't finished yet but I do agree that the story and character development is lacking a bit. I'm just having fun running around killing the random bad guys while occasionally mixing in the main story missions.
I think they've lost their way with the overall story they were trying to tell and for that reason this will be the last AC game I pick up.
Finished the game last night; I personally found Unity's story to be the weakest in the series, 2nd only to AC3.
The ending was way too cliche. Too many integral parts of Arno's story were skipped and there was really little side-character development.
I agree. Arno is very much an Ezio 2.0 but he seems to be very underutilized and underdeveloped compared to other AC protagonists. You can see hints of his personality, but once he becomes an assassin, it's barely there. Even Connor's "always angry and pissed" attitude came through more when he was an assassin.
I almost feel like UbiSoft concentrated more on getting all these game features and connectivity together than fleshing out a good story. I mean, at least it's more a story than the epic script failure that is DESTINY, but in my opinion, I have enough fun with the gameplay that I can overlook the lacking story. It's pretty incredible walking through the city with all the craziness going on and UbiSoft did a tremendous job making it all unique with riots and other stuff going on.
