Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Man the Russos must not give a crap about Captain Marvel.

It's like they were forced to add her to the end credits of IW but them said "okay fine we'll have her show up but five minutes is all she gets before we send her to the opposite side of the universe again", lol.

Wish hulk could have had her "cool" moments though. :(

I remember reading some months back that Mark Ruffalo spoiled something big and then got "fired." Was any of that true? Might some of his big moments gotten scrapped due to fallout over spoilers?

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Because Cap is superpowered.. Gets to do every cool thing in this movie.. And Hulk gets to snap his fingers. :lol

I was disappointed that hulk didn't get a rematch against Thanos.

It was a missed opportunity and they gave it to Capt Marvel instead. She didn't earn it, imo.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Regarding all the stones.

Did cap really take the soul stone back.. No reason to really..

:lol :lol

And how did THAT reunion play out, lol.

I do admit to being slightly bummed that we didn't get to see Cap face the Red Skull again but hardly worth complaining about all things considered.

Well they could have just turned him into Raging Hulk... Don't need Ruffalo for that :lol

Ya know... Russo's even kinda crap on Hulks coolest moment in the MCU.. Hulk Knocks out one of the Chitauri dragons with one punch in The Avengers. Well the Russo's
Let Ant-man do the same thing in his large form.. Hell I would say he does it with more authority.. Thus making the feat by Hulk not all that special..
Man I hate the Russo's right now.

That would have been bad ass.

And then Ant-Man

steps on that one big dude from IW with more authority than when Banner previously killed him by sending him into the force field with the Hulkbuster glove, lol.

Aw man I sense your hatred for the Russos building to SNIKT/RJ levels. ;)

Yeah.. I thought for sure Hulk would have at least got that rematch..

This movie is getting worse and worse for me.. I better go to bed. :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

So who do you give the MVP?

Cap
Tony
Ant-Man
Widow
Dr Strange
Gemora

Personally, I go with Tony, but Cap is a close second.

Well actually Hulk brought 1/2 the Universe back from the dead and IM finally beat Thanos..

Cap really didn't do anything ;) :lol

Would have been cool to see Cap returning the soul stone to Red Skull!

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I think Mark Millar is the unsung hero of the MCU. His Ultimates was truly the blueprint to the Avengers movies and their characterizations. RDJ IS Millar's Stark, 100%. Hawkeye and his family. Thor's not an enviromentalist but there's similarities. His Cap really informed the Cap we'd see on screen.

Now I know thousands of men and woman have contributed to these characters over the years, but I think this really goes above most of his contemporaries.

Most blatant example is Nick Fury.

Remember....this was published in 2001!!!

But one big reminder for me was watching the very end of Endgame. All I could see was the last pages of Ultimates:

That shot of a beat up Cap holding his broken shield facing Thanos and his army has to be my single most favorite shot in all of the MCU.

Alone yet defiantly standing his ground.

E P I C

Epic. Only word for it. The silhouette style....amazing execution.

All about this right here

Epic goes up a notch. Best 'moment' in all the MCU IMO.

when Happy was talking to Tony’s daughter and told her that he liked cheeseburgers.

I think that was the Russos little nod to Favreau's part in all this. "We see you".....not just RDJ.

So who do you give the MVP?

Easily Tony. It was written to point to him. You started it, you finished it. Ultimate sacrifice for a originally selfish guy.

How come Nedula is still alive after killing herself?

He technically does when he returns it to vormir, we just never see it
