Re: Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

So apparently Ross Marquand was Red Skull.

My theater was also like the video linked above, people went nuts when Thor arrived with rocket/Groot.

Re: Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

So leaving all of the original Avengers alive was big mistake on Thanos’s part. The’re the smartest and strongest of all of them.

yeah really- he could have wiped them all out with the gauntlet completed- but he probably figures what could they possibly do against him? 'Ol ego back in again...

Re: Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

I hope Black Widow dies. As the universe expands and more characters with powers show up, I find her less believable and honestly, I think she diminishes other characters by somehow being an equal or better, when she's literally a human with glow sticks and guns. Either enhance her, or kill her already. Proxima should have easily overpowered her in a fight. The same goes for Corvos Glaive. They're like 7 feet tall for god's sake. She's not only as skilled as BW, but literally much bigger and stronger, so BW has no advantages.

yeah awful mistake- i imagine ScarJo had some say so on what she can do and not do

Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

A majority of the movie going public doesn't follow the movies like fans do. Fans live in a bit of a bubble where we surround ourselves with similar minded people who know these movies and their source material. Most of the movie going population don't go out to social media, or follow sites that post set photos, they simply go to the movies to watch a good movie and be entertained, which is what the Marvel movies for the most part are. I wasn't surprised when everyone who stuck around for the ending credit scene, was wondering who Nick Fury was calling, I was actually pretty excited for them because they had a mystery to solve and a exciting anticipation for the next movie, that sadly I don't have because I already know.

I was pretty proud of myself for guessing who he was trying to reach on his beeper. I wouldn’t put it on par with figuring out Bruce Willis was dead in sixth sense but it wasn’t a layup either.

Ned will be the one who brings down Thanos in the end!

I’m curious how he’ll look in the Hobgoblin suit…

I thought her character’s name was Lucy…

Re: Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

Thor a great character but him turning into a jokester since TR is plain stupid. Have him funny in the way he as in the first Thor but not a comedian in just about every scene. Still did fine in IW but I found his humor poor most of the time(except scenes with StarLord)

Re: Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

IW caused BP to go from 8th place back into the top 5 on its 11th week of release that is just insane.

I want to work for Disney....they own the movie industry. Rest might as well go direct to video...

I disagree. Ragnarok made Thor one of my favorite characters, and I was worried he was gonna feel pushed to the side in IW. But I was pleasantly surprised.

Re: Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

Deadline is reporting an estimated 248-250 million domestic which will surpass TFA. :thud:

I told Jye yesterday when they we going to be 3M short that Disney would likely "adjust" the numbers so they can get the crown. I mean, over 3M, they deserve it.

Re: Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

He's slowly becoming irrelevant. He needs to make public comments that the media runs with to keep him in the public eye. Just like he did with Wonder Woman, although his comments were spot on that time :)

On Jimmy Kimmel live last week, Kimmel asked Zoe Seldona what she thought of his comment about hoping fans get tired of Marvel movies. She didn't know how to respond. RDJ jumped in and defended him, then pleaded to the camera how he'd love to work with Jim Cameron in some upcoming endeavor. It was pretty funny.

Thats actually depressing, he talks about the other directors in the business, can you imagine only going to the movies to watch CBM? Think of it as the genre’s from the previous films decades, Spagetti Westerns, Action, Sci-Fi, CBM is a bubble waiting to burst and no matter if DC and Marvel are at their peak, the next big thing will come around the corner.

Cameron is concerned because Disne y just recently opened Avatar Land riding on the success of the first one that by now it is completely forgotten, the thing is the other parts of that movie should have been released long ago but all delayed because of Marvel.

Universal still holds the rights for the Marvel Theme Parks at Islands of Adventure which Disney cannot tap into for a long while at their profitable destination in Disney World for the time being but they can in California and that park is just too small.

With Star Wars land and Toy Story land opening soon, avatar might be a one and one done deal and fade into nothingness soon but if you guys haven’t been there watching the floating islands is nothing short of breathtaking

Re: Avengers: Infinity war - (warning: Spoilers)

Another good thing about this movie is that I can go easier on Ragnarok now that IW delivered what that film lacked in suspense and drama. I'm still not the biggest fan of everything being played for the laugh, but I'm just indifferent to the humor now - I don't like it but I don't hate it either.

That's because you're not a real Thor fan, so sayeth the mighty true comic fan Gods! :lecture

I'm being sarcastic if that wasn't already obvious. :lol

And somewhere in the universe.... in silence... SNIKT sheds a single tear.

I really wonder what he thinks of this movie - I bet he's happy to see MCU Spidey bit the dust. :lol

Well to be fair to IW it’s still on an even playing field because TFA numbers were also fudged hell all box office numbers are fudged so fudging is actually considered the normal playing field lol

It’s actually being reported that final monday numbers might bring it into the 253 - 260 range so yeah title well deserved indeed.

Hugo Weaving and Edward Norton are those actors that get tired of portraying the same actors and want more relevance in other roles 🤷*♂️

Avatar 2 will be like a tiny soap bubble bursting on the sea of Disney..watch Cameron delay it another couple years hoping CBM- mania will slow down
