Every time I see the Wolf Pred, I can't help but think of a paraphrased line from "pulp Fiction":

Pred: I don't wanna hear about no mother*#@&^%$' ifs. All I wanna hear from your a$$ is, You ain't got no problem, Yautja. I'm on the mother*&$#@r. Go back in there, chill them Aliens out and wait for the calvary which should be coming directly.
Elder Pred: You ain't got no problem, Yautja. I'm on the mother*&$#@r. Go back in there, chill them Aliens out and wait for the Wolf who should be coming directly.
Pred: You sending the Wolf? Why didn't you say so, Xeno? I feel much better.

:lol:lol:lol

i didn't get the chance to read all the posts, so if this concern was raised earlier, sorry.

i'm looking forward to the wolf predator. but something i noticed is getting me a little concerned...he doesn't have the ball hip joints like the earlier preds.

i REALLY hope this new body can provide at LEAST the same amount of articulation like the other preds.

thoughts?

That is cause for concern... think he's got the kind of hip joints HT's regular human bodies do? If so, that might actually be an improvement. Guess I'll go look at those prototype pics again more carefully. Thanks for bringing it up! :D

I go through a re-pose about once a month...

Excpet the cyberman...who has 1 pose...that is all...:(...

My only predator is from the first film, and is hardly poseable at all...

Guess that means it's time for a HT one...

Sometimes I wish they could pose themselves, but then I imagine what it would be like having all these little aliens and Predators running around all over the house trying to kill everything in sight. Don't think my wife would like it much. :D

I noticed that as well. If you look at the photo's, they have also done away with the shoulder swivel and just went to a standard shoulder joint. I think that they also joined the knee armour right to the joint (like a knee cap) and made the leg armour part of the sculpt. I'm not too keen on what I see of the changes, but I do like the concept of the figure.

I've got no problem with the shoulder and hip joints. But the knee pads and leg armor being part of the sculpt, thats a bit of a deal breaker.:monkey2. i hope thats not the case cause ive ordered and paid for two wolf figures.

Just wanted to add that tomorrow, I go to my bank, drop $200 in, and I'm preordering this motha****a!!!

Thank you to my local casino for the cash!!!

Okay, I've got to ask a few questions...

1. I notice this figure as the hoses, did Hot Toys ever fix the rusting problem the AVP ones had?

2. The description says it has a net body suit, but in the film, and what I can see, he doesn't wear the mesh on his legs... do you think Hot Toys is just going to give us a shirt, or the full thing?

3. Since there is no mesh on his legs, and his calves seem to have some kind of spines on them, does anyone think that shin/lower leg armor is going to be molded on?

Probably the upper body net dude, did your hoses rust? my Scar is release date old and his hoses are awesome

Actually, I never bought the AvP ones because I kept reading people had hose problems... now that it's been a long time since they were released, and yours is in good shape, I my consider ordering Scar sometime soon.

Thanks man!

All i can tell you bro is that my hoses are still in good condition, but even if they did mark it would make them look abit better i reckon.

Theres a few Scar Predators on ebay at the moment
