Take this with a grain of salt, but I just read on a preorder auction on Ebay, that the expected shipment date is... JANUARY - FEBRUARY 2008

Not that big of news, and might not be true, bu it gives me a little comfort in thinking I might not be waiting until March.

Didn't ABC said something about end of Dec. - early Jan., depending on Hot Toys? That sounded just a little too good to be true based on past experience, but if it arrives some time in January that'll be good with me. February is stretching it, but if that's the way it goes, then so be it. Fortunately, it's already paid for!

Yeah, I missed out on getting one from them too! Got one on the way from a place in Japan though, but it cost more!

I think your chances of finding one in the states is much better. Here's one I found from a shop I buy stuff from. You might want to give them a look...

Edit: Looks like Toys2 is cheaper. Still, if that doesn't pan out, it wouldn't hurt to have another place to fall back on!

ABC-Express always will say the product is coming within 30 days so people don't complain about the auctions to ebay. He does this even if it's 6 months out.

Well, that's not the sort of thing I wanted to hear, but this is my first experience with them. I just got a pair of 1/6 scale hand tool sets from them today that they said were shipping at the end of Dec., so I'm still hopeful the AvP:R figures will ship as soon as they predicted, too... but I'm not holding my breath.

Well, I've been waiting my RE figures since late October from ABC express, and it's been 2 months... I think they really have no idea when the figures they sell are coming out.

You can't really blame ABC express cause they just go by the release date Hot Toys provides.
