The only way I'll believe it, is a youtube video showing the figure being put in with the canopy closing in the same shot. :lecture

Really? Because he clearly fits. The ears are inside. There's no reason to believe that canopy wouldn't close with him in it.

Re: Hot Toys Batman 1989: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible Vehicle - Specs & Pics

With the canopy closed? I ask because the window tint is so heavy you wouldn't be able to see him inside if that were the case.

Yes, I just wanted to have one driving the car. If I feel like opening the canopy, he's already there behind the wheel where he should be. That's the whole reason I bought another one. Now I'm thinking it could damage the body suit and cape in the long run.

You could put a little light in the car to make him stand out from behind the tint.

That's a great idea.

Why is it so hard to believe that he fits inside and it closes? It even tells you how to properly insert the figure into the Batmobile so that it can close over him in the instructions. :slap

I'd say its definitely possible. However, the figure's been out over a year now and I haven't seen a single report of a torn shoulder or elbow from posing his arms bent; that could be a good sign that the legs bent in the car will be fine, maybe?

im not sure that i will be displaying mine in the car for long periods, i definitely want to be able to pose him in there from time to time.

i think he looks great in the car.

I think I read somewhere that these figures aren't supposed to be kept in a sitting/riding (like on the Batpod) pose for long periods of time. I can't remember where.

Every time I see more pics I'm still shocked at the scale. I need to get ready...

Simple. Use it to conserve space, rather than take it up: store a variety of Hot Toys boxes inside of the Batmobile box.:lecture

That still opens the question to where to place the box. I store my HT boxes on top of one another to fit in a certain place. This box itself is the size of a small book shelf.

Since this is a more linear box I'll just flatten it.

Do you have a closet to store it in, or an attic/basement?
