Averone, did you build the 1:1 Batmobile yourself or have someone build it for you? I'd love to have one someday and I'm just wondering who does the best job of building an accurate replica.

Free ground shipping over $75 :yess:

:rotfl
Somehow I do not see that happening

I dunno. I was offered free delivery on mine the other day there. Only thing is, I didn't hear my phone ring when they brought it over today. I called back on the number, and they said they'd have to wait now till Monday to deliver because I'm too far away. I'm a 30 minute walk away :slap
However, in this heat, I'm not going to bother, and simply wait for the delivery.
I'll spend the weekend figuring out where I'm going to put it on Monday.

Alright some quick photos of my 89' setup, ordered an acrylic case already.

And here is my life size 89, with a couple of my mechanics :)

:eek :eek Oh my goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek :eek

Hey that's pretty alright good.

a-dev, looks like it's going to be a while. So here's hoping we get the later fixed batches. 15th of October.

:gah:

Oh well. Yeah at least there's a greater chance of this problem being rectified by the time we get ours. So DX13 moves up to pole position as my next item(s).

40-42cm....... depending on which edge you take.

The rear of the car with the wings is fatter than the front so that is the measurement I need.

If it's 42cm then there will be a 5cm overspill which is not too bad and would be even better if I pulled the cabinets out from the wall a bit.

Thanks Rory!

No they are not. Sideshow specifically told me when I called them the first time that there are NO replacement parts from Hot Toys and their customer service is NON-EXISTENT.
I would imagine between losing $100 to ship the thing back to sideshow, or paying $5 to ship you a canopy, they'd opt for the latter. They could include a return mailer for your canopy to replace the one they stole for parts and pawn that one off on some other poor bastard.

I posted a week ago about bbts stock being at 130 pieces, to my surprise today there already down to 94:horror There is moving faster than thought it would:panic:

Where did you find information on this? I'm getting mine shipped the 20th, next week by SSC, I'm so worried about it, but I really really really want the Batmobile. Plus, it'll make a great present since my birthday is at the end of this month.

Hi guys, for anyone looking for a decent priced batmobile, Warner Brothers shop has it for 629.95 and shipping is 5$...? I tried to check out and that's what popped up. Anyway, it's way cheaper than through sideshow. But I'm not sure if they'll change shipping for this.

Here's the link

Well I did. I pulled the trigger on my THIRD Batmobile. I used the code SAVINGS and saved another $20 Knocking it down to $615 shipped. Hopefully I can swap parts off one to at least have ONE perfect Batmobile and use the other to go out and shoot photos. Jesus.

Go to BBTS and select the batmobile.. when your asked to add to cart .. type in 100 and hit the update button and it will show you how many you can buy in this case it says 94.. there were 95 until last night when I ordered one... a few days ago I typed in 300 and it only showed 130 something in stock.

^^^ Wow, are they really only charging $5 for shipping? I'm looking at the rates, it's only $10 for 2 day delivery, or $15 for overnight. Let us know how it goes, this would be an insane deal.

Shipping is $5.00 on any order over $75.00... just not sure what their returns are like.. but good price!
