I should have gone with the WBShop when I noticed you guys post about it. I wonder if they will get a restock. If not it's probably Sideshow only. Just maybe I'll get a good one...

Me too. My Batmobile cleared customs here in the UK too late to the make the cut off point for delivery today. Then there is a bank holiday on the Monday so it looks like the replacement wont get here till Tuesday Now i've just got to worry about it sitting in the Fedex depo for 3 days!!! Definately a Dr Pepper moment....whats the worse that could happen?

The one solid thing Batman and Batman Returns had going for it was the amazing Production Design... I was at the Massachusetts College of Art (Mass Art) when Batman was released and my classmates and I where just blow away.. we saw the film 3 times the first weekend so we could take in all the coolness.. Really sad Anton Furst took his life what a talented concept designer... I'm so glad I can add this Batmobile to the tumbler!

I ordered from there and mine hasn't shipped, so I called about it and the lady told me it is being held until they get more stock to fill the order.... whether that means they will be getting more stock to sell, or just stock to fill the 2-3 orders they have for it I don't know.

Canopy is covered with a protective peel away plastic to keep it from scrathing.. that's on all of them... peel it away.. Funny they couldn't do one on the top of the actual batmobile...

He's talking about the canopy of the car, not the cocoon! Check out his pics, where most people have scuffing, his paint is puffed up.

The direction and overall cinematography...

I'd call of these pretty darned solid. But maybe that is just me.

Yup, I'd say everything was pretty damn solid. Well maybe a couple of the king penguin suits near the end of returns were a little bit iffy...

For those of us who have light scratches and scuffs on our item, has anyone tried using some rubbing alcohol to clean the area then use a little bit of plastic scratch remover? I know I have used it on shinny black plastics but since this thing is a matte like finish I'm not entirely sure it will work?

I received my Batmobile from Sideshow today and...it is not damaged!!! No scratch at all, only a very very thin line under both fuel tank hatch and some light dirty spot on the canopy.
My Batmobile was packed in plastic bag under the plastic shield, yours too?
The plastic shield took shots during shipment, but i don't care...
Everything else is ok!

Now my opinion = AWESOME, a pure masterpiece! The paint don't look plastic at all and it's a monster, i don't know where to put it...

I love it!

What kind of plastic bag? Can you tell if it was SS or HT that put the plastic bag? This is good news to hear, I get mine on Monday. It seems like everyone that got the new batch from SS has a almost perfect batmobile.
