Makes mine look like plastic junk.

Yeah, I just looked at mine after seeing those pics and felt kinda bad. I guess lights make all the difference. In those pics, that looks like straight up fiber glass or bullet proof metal.

Thanks guys...still learning to tinker with the camera..but that beast definitely needs to be shown in the dark....

Here is one more from the Granas thread..

Dunno if this was posted here of not but BBTS just marked down thier damaged one to $449.99 not a bad deal if you are willing to overlook some scratches. It wouldn't matter much in a display imo.

Its an Ikea Granas table. You can find more info in the display section of the forum.

I didn't feel that way. Undoubtedly fantastic pics but I'm satisfied that the only reason it looked better than mine is because of the lighting. The car itself is exactly the same stock car that I have, mine too could look that real if I invested in a display case and lighting. Its not like some amazing custom batmobile that I could never achieve.

I'm happy to say that I still have no regrets about buying this. As you may recall I was worried that this was too big and too expensive an item for a more casual Batman fan to own. As it turns out though, whether I'm in one of my Batman moods or not, I still find myself leaning down to look at this thing from all angles. Its just that cool and truly iconic.

Oh yeah, I know. I'm not saying what we own is crap. Just, the lighting I have in my collecting room doesn't make it look like THAT. It looks dull in comparison to those gorgeous shots.

That's one thing I love about the car, that black sheen and black finish is really nice. It reminds me of the finish Hot Toys gave the DX 09 utility belt. My favorite thing is when I go to dust it, then stand back and look at what appears to be a brand spanking new Batmobile.

Great display Kicker, love the lighting, very much the mood I want to set with my display. When I have the time and room I am going to build a coffee table display with a rotating base. As well as smaller end tables for the two tumblers.
