DC game > Batman only game.

They better start bringing other superheroes, Batman's cool but enough's enough.

I would say batman is the best is because he is human, that's much more interesting from a gameplay perspective. Simply add flying and that can break a game. I'm not convinced many superheroes can make that transition

Spider-man is a mutant with superhuman strength, superhuman agility and can cling to most surfaces.
Yet people love him punchin' thugs n slingin' on webs, especially in games.

Wolverine is a mutant with superhuman strength, regeneration, indestructible skeleton and six blades for hands.
Yet people love him punchin' thugs n rippin' heads off some monsters, especially in games.

The only difference is that Spider-man, Wolverine and Batman are among several most popular CB characters.

___

Green Arrow is a human with fighting skills and gadgets.
Black Canary is a human with fighting skills and a very loud scream.

Both are crime fighters with rogues gallery.
Both heavily connected to other DC heroes.

I WANT DEM GAMES!

Have you played Infamous or Metal Gear Rising?

You can have crazy ass superpowers/flight, and other stuff in games, but devs/creators have been to lazy too figure it out.

Nah you can do a game with super powered characters. Infamous and rising as someone stated earlier are good games with super powered beings. Superman would be difficult IMO sense he's can do anything. Spider-Man and wolverine can both work if done right.spiderman and wolverine have been proven to do well in gaming in the past. Spider-Man 2 is one of the best Spider-Man games, these new beenox ones are complete garbage.

Flying was awesome in the Superman Returns video game, but the rest of it was absolutely terrible.

Raiden isn't a super hero :lol inFamous counts because that is the exact aim, a super hero style game though, so point proven. The ease with Batman and the characters Riddick pointed out is that they can be killed, and are physically vulnerable in some way.

It doesn't matter if Raiden isn't a superhero, he can break dance with gekkos tied up to his feet :lol

Superman can be killed too, like I said, you need proper enemies, you're not gonna have him fighting random thugs, you put him against Metallo, Brainiac drones, Luthor/Army weapons, etc etc.

Because he's a cyborg ninja, all arguments are invalid :lecture and...because Kojima.

That is true, but the developers probably would have to figure out something with Superman and his powers. It could be styled like Metroid (Arkham Asylum has a similar feel, perhaps something like this), where you lose pretty much all your abilities at the start through silliness, so Superman would have to regain everything and then progress with said new poers. It could actually start out as an origin story too, with young Clark Kent slowly gaining and learning about his powers. Though on killing, most devs probably don't know Superman can be killed, or really general comic book **** without proper research. I mean celebrities actually think Batman acts exactly as Bale portrayed, growly voice and all, like Matt Damon :rotfl

I cringe at that thought :lol

Yeah, origin story for Superman would be perfect for a game, in fact the new52 Grant Morrison origin would be the perfect fit, he can't fly, just jump really high, barely outrun a bullet and a tank can stop him, it would be great Rising action with all that.

Everyone cringes at Kojima these days! :lol can you blame them?

I think I read that origin, it'd work as a basis. Then the sequel can maybe add some ideas or new powers altogether, maybe some combinations.

I do hope they give some sort of similar combat to Batman Arkham at least, like the fists of furry :drool can't enough of some of those moves. doing that as Superman would be pretty satisfying.

Thats generally the problem with past Superman games though, besides the usually terrible story and idiotic powers mechanics that have been tossed in, it's usually just punching a bunch of robots until you get to a boss fight.

I honestly think Superman can be done but its going to take one hell of a storyline to make as interesting as possible.

Rhythm based combat could work for Superman, especially if you add in super speed once yhe combo reaches a certain point, it'd be like super speed pinball blowing through enemies

No, I cringed at the thought people think Batman acts like Baleman :lol Kojima-sama still has my respect.

The problem isn't that you had to punch a bunch of robots, the problem is that it was boring to do so.

You basically do the same with Batman, punch a bunch of thugs, grab clue, go to next place, punch some more thugs, but why is it fun? Because thugs attack at the same time, they throw stuff at you, they shoot you, they charge, and you need to time your attacks accordingly.

Yeah, I guess but robot/drones are over done. I'd like a story that maybe deals with Darkseid invading Metropolis, Superman fighting Parademons and Furies and maybe you could toss in other villains being mind contolled or brainwashed. That would be a nice change from previous games and then you also can hsve huge Apokolips mechinations that almost multipart enemies because of their size.

Oh, yeah :lol it's...um, sickening I guess. Damon basically stated that's how Batman is (growly voice and all, like Bale) when he tried to defend Affleck from the haters. Good lord.

And you could use some things like a powered up heat vision or ice breath, quick fire to use them as well.

I want _ Green Arrow/Black Canary _ and _ Blue Beetle/Booster Gold _ games.

I was just thinking of they did the Injustice regime, and had BC and GA do their rebel ****, it'd be pretty sick. First off it could easily play like Arkham, and the boss is Superman. Like damn, that'd be tough as ****. Not to mention you get heroes and villains under different perspectives. You also wouldn't be fighting thugs, it'd be highly trained guys that Superman puts for curfew.

It'd be Arkham City reskinned - but I'm all for it.

As for a Superman game, I like the idea of origin. I'd even say for the idea of doing a quick beat up they should do it like hit man absolution where you have a shirt timer and you have to pick the guys you want to attack. I liked Web Rush in ASM games but it made it too easy. Also the game could be set at night, so while yeah Superman still has powers he won't be as powerful without recharge. Or do an Arkham City and have him poisoned with Kryptonite until he finds a way to get around that. He could even talk to Bruce about getting some help and it could easily connect as a universe of Arkham.

Superman can be done, but yeah; you got to be creative.
