I don't know -- I really think it is impossible to come up with a season pass that everyone would have been totally happy with. I think a lot of the people who are saying it's not worth it were expecting a single huge chunk of add-on content that is about 2/3 the size of the full retail game to "justify" the $40 cost of the pass.

But when I look at that above list, I have to admit, damn -- that is A LOT of DLC. Sure, maybe it is not all everyone's cup of tea, and not everyone will get what they want, but there is plenty there to appeal to most fans of most versions of Batman. Almost every live action era /franchise of Batman is represented, almost all of the most well-known movie Batmobiles. So many alternate Batman skins. Nods to the games that came before. So many other characters (playable only in the challenges, yes, but at least they're there). On top of that, there has been a genuine responsiveness from RockSteady to make unplanned changes to try to give the fans what they want -- even while faced with the challenge of fixing the botched PC release at the same time. They modded the challenges to make them closer to what the experience was in the previous games by reducing the blue walls and adding character-select. They saw the demand for a Nolan Batsuit and they're filling it (though, I kinda suspect this one was always in the cards).

Yes, the PC launch was completely screwed up, and the DLC out of the gate -- when viewed individually, isn't much to write home about. I can see why there's disappointment with this game not being the "ultimate" end-all Batman game experience in some's eyes -- I see complaints of lack of replay value and I'm impressed that people have played enough that that's an issue. It's gonna take me a really long time to get through playing all of this stuff just once.

I just want to express what I feel has become the dissenting opinion here: to me, cumulatively, RockSteady did an amazing job with this game, the breath of the DLC that has been released so far (and is scheduled to be released) and of course, with this entire series when viewed altogether. This game, and all of this content is a work of art. Well done, RockSteady. Well done.

Alot of this DLC though is largely what was included in other games. Challenge map characters, alternate costumes.

DLC needs to actually add something. None of these really do. Id pay £10 for all the story dlc and thats it.

The batmobiles are largely irrelevant; no battle mode rules playing almost the entire game. The skins; its not enough for replay value. They are released 3-4 months after the game is out. AC the skins were mostly already there. New game + I was in BTAS or the 70s blue and yellow. The rest I didnt bother with.

Challenge maps; its done in a poor way with the faux VR walls. Takes me out of it to be honest.

The DLC is alot of irrelevant content when Ive wrapped the game up twice but crucially unlike AC or AO; Ive no desire to replay the game. Jesus Ive finished City over 20 times, origins over 10 times and I still want to play them, AK doesnt make me want to touch the damn thing ever again.

So they bought back the 4 round challenge maps - CHECK
They are sorting out those ****** blue walls - CHECK
Switchable characters for challenge maps - CHECCCCCKKKKKKK
Not skimping out with the AR challenges - CHECK
batfleck suit - Groooooovy CHECK!

Well, despite all the negativity, I am actually looking forward to the new updates and DLC, it shows Rocksteady have been listening to the criticism they have been getting. My main concern was challenge maps (the lack of, the aesthethic, short but sweet 1rounds) and from that DLC list SnakeDoctor so kindly posted it seems that any concerns i had have been attended to. I enjoyed the Story (though not my fave in the series)

Yes, challenge map characters were already included in other games and initially for AK, RockSteady didn't have that option for every character -- but they listened to the community and changed what they could to give us more options with the challenge maps. For that, I give them credit.

And as for costumes being mostly already there in AC, that is true -- but you got how many total Batman skins? Nine? A handful of alternate Batman skins were available at launch for AK too -- and then, they added a lot more. In AK there will be 21 when all are released...giving players many more options of which version to play as. (And that's just counting for Batman) Not sure how giving players more options is a bad thing. But this point doesn't even appeal you -- since you "didn't bother with" most of them. But that doesn't make them irrelevant --in fact, I bet most players, like you-- and like ME -- have a few skins that they prefer to use way more than any of the others, and that's great -- because chances are, they're not the same few skins for everybody.

Challenge maps - yes the VR blue walls and holographic thugs are a departure from what they did before (except I think the thugs in the AC Batcave levels were supposed to be holograms too). So they tried something new and fans bristled -- and then, they modified it. Sure the experience isn't exactly the same as it was in previous games, but again -- they took a risk and it didn't pan out, and then they took steps to correct it based on fan feedback -- for that, kudos.

So you just didn't like Arkham Knight's main game in general. After playing through it twice you've got no desire to touch it again. That's fine. And that's got little if anything to do with the DLC. Even if there was a longer story DLC than the 15-20 minute "episodes" that have been released so far, how would that change how you feel about the main game? I'm not sure it would have much if any effect on that.

Rocksteady gave us/are giving us Keaton Batman and his Batmobile, West Batman and his Batmobile, Bale Batman and his Batmobile, and Affleck Batman and his Batmobile.

I'd pay $40 bucks for those. Isn't that what everyone was clamoring for? Game isn't perfect (I prefer the others, especially City and Origins), but the DLC ain't horrible.

Clamouring for them to be useable in the whole game, not after you finish the actual meat of the game. The tumbler; should be battle mode. The AK batmobile is massively inspired by it. The 89 batmobile is weirdly out of proportion, suit is epic.

I dont know anybody who purely did the main game and ignored every side mission. If I found a body id investigate there and then, if i heard Manbat id eject and go after him instantly. Bank alarm go off id race immediately Thats what Batman does.

If the batmobiles had battle mode the DLC would be worth it in a heartbeat but all they did was half arse it and only allow you to drive it in a largely empty quarter of Gotham City where theres no tanks, Knight forces and most thugs gone.

Has anyone seen anything about the Adam West Batman skin being available for the XBox One? I know it was originally a PS4 exclusive until Fall 2015. It seems really awkward to have all the other '66 skins except Batman's. I can't seem to find any info on it.

There's always been some exclusive Batman content on the Sony systems, like Joker in AA and most of them aren't on Xbox still. I imagine maybe they'll keep it, or maybe they'll transfer it over later, late November at the latest

Have never been a fan of challenge maps, skins, or other content of that type.
Loved the main game though. Will probably spring for the individual DLC story content pieces when they are all released.

Just beat the Cloudburst on my New Game + run through, now, only two more ****** tank battles to go (DS and the Drill). I actually don't mind stuff like the GCPD siege. I'm surprise by how much I've been using the original Asylum skin.

People actually use xboxes?

Huh? The Xbox One is outpacing the PS3 and 360. And its exclusive library is vastly superior to the PS Bore right now. Literally only 1 exclusive worth playing on the PS4, yet the X1 has Sunset Overdrive, Halo MCC, Forza Horizon, Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza 6. Its not even close.

If the PS4 wasnt total crap in the games department, I would have purchased it by now.

Awesome! Way to go for a next gem system on outpacing last-gen systems! LOL.

In a perfect world, all a gamer really needs is a PS4 and a PC.

ugh, both consoles have their big games, actually all three have great exclusives. I never got why people bash other systems, I love Halo, one of my favorite series, so I own a Xbox one, I love Uncharted, my other favorite series, so I bought a PS4, I also love the Smash Bros games, so I own a Wii U. Of the three systems I actually think Wii U has the better console exclusives with their exclusive nintendo brand but that doesn't take anything away from the other consoles.

I have both

No need to tear down one to bring the other up

But let's not get it twisted

Everyone knows PS4 sells more hardware and software than Xone

I think we can all agree that it's not a big deal if a next generation console outpaces a last generation console. The other way around however is something :lol

Downloading the "patched" steam version now. Let's see if it's fixed.
