yes, much more difficult, look at the thick and thin parts of the complex curve. beautiful job. And you counted the letters?!! :lol

There's 3 people in that roof with plenty of time. One letter is not that complex actually...neither is counting :lol

Yeah, I was thinking that was one of the first times I saw this done on screen.

And he did it twice. First time was with blood on a big wall after he kills Tin tin.

This is way worse.

I remember looking at the Death of Superman comic in the 90s. I might be remembering this wrong, but I recall a little black kid spray painting a huge "S" in neon paint to get Superman's attention for help. This scene with the flood victims reminds me of that. I dig it. I like the imagery of it.

Yeah, the trailer has some crappy things in it like the obvious CGI Batman and Superman action bits, or the annoying desaturation of some scenes or friggin' Jesse Eisenberg in that awful wig saying weird **** about red capes. Natural disaster victims looking for Superman's help in a melodramatic way though? Seems fine to me. It's a good trailer that shows the dichotomy between Batman and Superman and their two worlds (Gotham/Metropolis, dark/light, Alfred/Ma Kent). The chalked out "S" symbol is like Batman pulling the cover off the Batsignal to get Superman's attention. It's a nice mirror of scenes. I like it.

Right now my worry is shoddy CGI, ugly looking scenes, and the movie being overstuffed with the likes of pointless characters like Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the big bad discussed in that synopsis, not Batman and Superman. There's more to like in this trailer than there is to dislike in my opinion.

Henry Cavill seems to act in slow motion. I know it's a Zach Synder movie, but everytime he raises his head or walks from left to right, he seems to be trying to do it as slowly as possible.

true fact.

And Fab, I get what you are saying, but Synder has proven time and time again that you cannot trust his trailers. And I actually had problems with this trailer, which I'm taking as a bad sign, as most of his others were much more impressive.

@Difabio

You didn't mind Bruce parents getting killed again? That's regurgitating the same origin we've seen done to death in other films already. There's no point for them to go there again...it's like move on already.

I suspect it's not done for exposition so much as to help build up some drama around a specific scene. So that the audience will feel some greater sympathy and understanding of this specific version of Bats. But knowing Snyder, I'm probably wrong, and it's probably done for some more ham-fisted reason. Might result in a police standoff where Joe Chill is riddled with bullets, and ultimately blown up with a rocket launcher.

I wonder what would happen if those people on the roof ran out of paint and it came out wrong? Supes would be like, that's not me!

They kind of did that in The Crow. They show him making his logo, then we see the perfect Crow symbol on fire :lol

Movie is a nod to TDKR. And the parents are show getting killed in that. Several times.

Yea. It's prolly shown like in the book when bruce is contemplating becoming Batman again.

I have no issue with that. Use dem books at story boards. Bat better fly into the window.

And do a 300 version of Wonder Woman. Snyder.....

Just imagine him using the grappling hook to swing from side to side, climbing out onto the suspension to survey his work, realising he might have missed a bit that'd throw off the whole look and then getting back to it - over and over again. This scene needs to be in one of those honest trailers if it isn't already.

I don't know how it will be utilized in the movie so I can't say. It might be a quick flashback that ties in with what Bruce is going through in the story (Alfred's cruel men speech), maybe it's a contrived filler moment to tell the audience what they already know. I have no idea how it will play out in the actual story or what the intention is. If it's quick, done well and fits with the story, then I probably won't have a problem with it.

If I got the opportunity of making my first Batman film, I would certainly have the Wayne murder featured in it somewhere. It's the backbone of the character and besides, if you got your chance at making your own interpretation of Batman, would you pass up on creating your vision of such an iconic scene? Besides, this looks like the closest live action recreation of The Dark Knight Returns. This is the first film Bruce Wayne to see Zorro before his parents bite it.

He was probably just standing on the Bat-"wing." The Bat could stay in one place, kind of like the delorian in BTTF. Still very difficult, but better than a grappling hook, plus it gives him a better view.

I genuinely think the Suicide Squad trailer is a lot more interesting than this. And I had zero expectations for that.

This seems just so cheesy.

Anyway let's see..
