The US government should probably know after the events of MOS anyway. Doesn't he tell them his age and where he grew up?

If that didn't do it, Superman hugging his mom in her home while Lois calls him Clark right in front of the military guys should be enough :lol I guess Batman can get access to all the military records, but assuming no one except Lois knows his identity, it's going to be pretty ridiculous if Batman, the world's greatest detective meets Clark and doesn't recognize him as Superman.

I just don't see why a brooding, loner character that these movies tend to depict would team up with super-beings.

Maybe to learn their weaknesses and to keep an eye on them. Batman always has ulterior motives, so I could see him "playing along" and being a team player, but really, he's just gathering information and working on a contingency plan. Remember, he sees them all as a potential threat...and he probably doesn't trust them yet. So for now, he
Keeps his friends close and his "enemies" closer.

He looks like that when he eats ice cream too, it's his thing :lol

:lol

Honestly I believe that eventually the MOS defenders will be proven right in the end.

Superman's journey will eventually (hopefully) go from Schizoeffective to Christopher Reeve charm by the end of BvS and maybe because he had to figure this stuff out on his own he will be the more wiser.

You could see him struggling with his Christopher Reeve alter ego under the World Engine, the boyscout wants to come out.

But you can't have any omelette's without first breaking some necks.

Pretty much agreed. I was long ago persuaded off the 'Superkiller' thing but, contrary to what a few of the defenders feel, I don't think the joke has gotten old at all. So I'm still in on the troll occasionally myself. :lol

Do you bleed? You will!

Its the big new ennemy who is saying this to Supes not Bat.

Seeing another Donner Superman does not interest me, i like the non perfect, becoming superman take.
And yep Pa Kent death was really badly set up.

The US government should probably know after the events of MOS anyway. Doesn't he tell them his age and where he grew up? And you can be damn sure they'd investigate who the superpowered alien had been disguised as all these years.

Well seeing how the center of Smallville was destroyed in a fight and one single home on the outskirts.

That would be enough for a clever man.

FBI Agent 1: Let's see, he said he was this age. Grew up in Kansas. He's about 6'2-6'4 Height...
Our High tech facial recognition narrows it to this guy.
FBI Agent 2: Hmmm...I dont know though...this guy wears glasses.
FBI Agent 1: You're right...its probably not him...Who is this Superman?!!!

Yeah, that is true.

I know it happens in the comics and cartoons, but I have a hard time seeing Batman being a team player. Batman is like the total antithesis of Superman, why would they ever team up? I hope Batman is played up as a reluctant teammate, an outsider. I've always had a problem with that archetype teaming up with the likes of Super friends. Just something odd about it.

It works with that cartoon 80s era Batman that is pretty much a happy go lucky captain with all of his cool gadgets, yes, but I just don't see why a brooding, loner character that these movies tend to depict would team up with super-beings.
I think it's worked in the Justice League cartoons pretty well, which is comparable to how it worked in lots of the Justice League comics. But really, in those instances, he isn't the brooding loner. He takes a break to be a semi-agreeable team player.

The best examples of Bats in a team, though, are both from the '80s--when he led the Outsiders, and when he led the Justice League International. In both cases, he did it because he realized that he was limited in his own abilities, but he also felt he was best suited to training, mentoring, and leading these young teams. The Outsiders run was a fairly serious comic, where he was probably too hard on the team, and the team eventually pushed him out because of it.

The JLI was some of the best comics ever, where he really was the brooding loner, and so hijinks ensued when he had to deal with Captain Marvel, Guy Gardner, or Booster Gold and Blue Beetle.

Also, I've gotta agree with a-dev. For some reason, making fun of MOS never gets old. These jokes age like a fine cheese.

Not Adam West or the Cloonster! They never killed nobody!

Also, Kilmer technically didn't kill Tommy Lee Jones with the coin trick.

West was the worst...he killed an innocent shark and I blame him for Jill St John's death .:cuss :lol Clooney indirectly killed Bane and Kilmer's intention was to kill Two Face. What other outcome was there in that situation, was he just hoping that Harvey would catch the wrong coin and be like, "Ha, in your face...um..faces, Harvey! You have the wrong coin, so lets go home." He knew what he was doing.

I think you should write that in a few more threads, just to make sure people know you don't care about Suicide Squad anymore.
