"Honey, I'm off to practice magic!"

"Don't forget to pack your lube, otherwise you'll chafe!"

Question is: If someone gives you a 'job, do you still get to activate a sigil?

Yes you do, as long as you focus on the sigil while you're doing it :lol it can also be charged with any other emotion, but *** drive and lust is one of the most powerful one according to Morrison.

...Aaaaand now I have the mental image of Morrison performing coitus while chanting about sigils stuck in my head... Well, ****e...

I love the take from Brave and the Bold, but no one at WB would have the balls to do a fun, golden age superhero romp on the big screen. That's why I say, **** them.

I have a feeling that everyone that hate the dark direction of DC, are really hard for a golden age flick. And are just mad that they're not.

(I would love one myself, but the darker the better imo)

For me it's: 1) the Nolan films...

Just turn off the lights. :wave

I like TDK, but I find it boring without the Joker and Two Face scenes. However, I find TDKR the most entertaining of them all, with BB a close second, despite not having my two favorite Batman villains, Two Face and Joker.
I've heard others say they like BB and TDKR better than DK. I don't see it but i don't knock them for liking the others either. To me it's like the Godfather trilogy or original Star Wars trilogy. Fans just have their faves.

And before any nerds or cinema snobs have a heart attack, I'm not comparing the SW or Godfather trilogy to Nolan's films, just the way fans view them.

It's ok, Star Wars are overrated toy commercials, but I don't mind you comparing them to the Godfather trilogy :)

I've also heard many people that say The Dark Knight Rises or Batman Begins as their favorite and putting The Dark Knight last. When I first watched the Dark Knight Rises, I felt the exact same way about the trilogy. TDKR was the most entertaining with the Batman Begins closely following, and then the Dark Knight. I'd now rank them TDK>BB>TDKR though.

I'm not one of those fans. :lol I much prefer the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Godfather Trilogy, the Nolan Batman trilogy, and the Bourne trilogy over the Star Wars trilogy. I really like Darth Vader, but most of that is because of the books.

I have never seen one episode of Dr. Who and i'm an old fart. :yess:
I had dismissed it for years because I remember thinking how cheesy it looked back in the day. Then I caught an episode of the rebooted series on a local PBS channel and just fell in love with the show. I've sort of given up on the show with the latest Doctor. I watched the first episode of the latest season and decided I'll wait for the rest on Netflix.

I don't know why, to be honest, but I like/watch BB more than TDK, maybe it's just that it had a big and unexpected impact on me when I saw it.

I think Ledger was great as Joker, but it doesn't hold as much rewatchability for me.

I didn't hate TDKR, but it's not something I wish to revisit anytime soon. It always irritates me at the end scene when there is a nuclear bomb ticking down and ready to explode, but Batman hangs around to hear Cotillards last words and also get some personal time with Catwoman. I always thought it would be hilarious if in the middle of that scene they just cut to a wideshot of the bomb going off.
