I. . .can't go this far :lol But as wacky as they were, at least character motivations were a little clearer (from what I remember). Lex Luth. . .er, Riddler's maniacal behavior was explained, at least.

I'm talking solely from a filmmaking perspective. Batman Forever has clear establishing shots, adheres to a single tone and theme, great pacing and superior editing. BvS is a mess in that regard. It's all over the place, especially in the third act where we're following Batman's preparation for his fight with Superman and it just keeps cutting away to things that are unnecessary to what's driving the plot like Justice League set ups and the like. The movie felt like a bunch of scenes incoherently placed in the movie, like some long rough cut far from being "locked".

Please...no....BvS is nowhere as bad as BF.

Not Lex, not Domsday, not anything.

Batman's cowl like a bobble head.
As I think more on it, I do think the storylines were also more coherent in those Schumacher films. Damn :lol

I really didn't see any similarities. It's news to me that people "hate" Carrey's Riddler, because I always thought he was the best and most entertaining thing in that film. :lol
I think he epitomized Schumacher's approach, for better or worse. I do see the new Lex as a kind of update of him. Very, very hard for me to imagine this Lex sitting at the head of a board of directors (or LEGION OF DOOM!!) and being an effective leader. Unless he only leads by fear and intimidation because he's a psychopath, which is possible.

By the way, where do prisoners have their heads fully shaven? Guantanamo Bay, maybe?

Yeah, as I said in the post I just made, as I thought more on it (though I haven't seen either of those films in over a decade I'm sure), they do seem more straightforward from a filmmaking perspective. Now, that's not always necessary for a movie to succeed, but unless you have a real master at work, like Nolan with Memento or are thinking of some art film like Un Chien Andalou, it almost always is.

Im talking about people's hate for Riddler but then people accepting and defending Lex in this

They are almost the same character. Jim Carrey might have overacted more as the riddler, but they act and even look the same before he becomes the Riddler.
All the scenes before the RIddler is very similar to Lex. so, again, how come people were so hard against Jim Carrey but Lex is "Good" and just "A new take"
Einsenberg was far more evil and sinister than Carrey, but, in their respective movies, they're kind similar yeah.

I loved Eisenberg as a villain, but not as Luthor, the more I think about it, the more convinced I am that they should've gone with a regular version of him.

They could still have him be the tech genius, but instead of Mark Zuckerberg they could've had a Steve Jobs, Oscar Isaac came into my mind, seeing him in Ex-Machina, and even what I remember of him from Suckerpunch, he would've been a bloody fantastic Luthor.

It would still be a fresh tech guy, but without the autism and tourettes Eisenberg had that imo kinda hurt the character.

Does that mean the next bunch of movies could have entirely different themes for each character?

Yeah, they said they're bringing back John Williams and Danny Elfman to compose for Justice League.

Well, if they'd resurrect Hopeman to make him more Superman-ish then it'd only fittin' to change the theme.
Batman's theme in BvS is fittin' for the psychotic and brutal vigilante only, if his character has changed then the them should too.

Should sound as great as the TFA did.

Hey, a question, if the Wonder Woman stand alone movie takes place during World War One does that mean that we are going to hear the same gitar riff while she's fighting Germans or she'll get a whole new theme music?

Man I hope not. :lol

My little brother said her theme sounded like Spy Kids and I asked him what that sounded like. He played it off YouTube and the themes are so similar. I can't unhear it now. It didn't fit what was on screen. Like I said before, I was loling when Bruce is scrolling through his computer and comes across the picture and that ****ing theme starts blaring.

The cutting at the end to other things reminded me of the Airplane scenes from amazing spiderman.

even the way Ma kent got a job and Aunt May had a job and they were watching on the tv :lol:lol

Thank you for ruining one of the few things I liked from BVS :lol
