I think BvS by a little, Terrio's script is tighter than MoS's, MoS has too much Goyer in it, it has scenes that while they do try to make a point, could've been executed MUCH better, like the tornado scene, goes without saying.

I'm going to try and give BvS another chance but from what I remember I just found it to be terrible, but the way you feel about it is the way I feel about The Matrix Revolutions, I could understand why people hated it but I couldn't understand how people could say it was a bad movie (except for that Agent Smith evil).

Wait, what was so bad about Irons in BvS that he should get nominated for a razzie?

I can definitely see Cavill and can understand if Ben "do u bleed, u will" Affleck isn't everyone's cup of tea, but Irons didn't do anything wrong!

I didn't see Assassin's Creed, but, maybe, he was nominated for that, moreso than BvS? As far as I'm concerned, they can get ****ed, jumping on the Snyder hatewagon. I don't give a **** who you are, compared to Suicide Squad, BvS was ******* Fellini, and it's some colossal ******** that Ayer isn't on that list (and that's coming from someone who, for most of his career, has been a fan).

It is kind of ironic, though. The dude who directed music videos made a more coherent movie than the dude who directed movies, and, adversely, made the world's most insufferable music video.:lol

The 2016 Razzie award nomination were released. That's a bit unfair...

Had the kid gloves on against the Ghostbusters ladies but roasted Margot Robbie?

Ive attacked this movie before but now i feel like i have to go online and defend it...... wtf....

Ghostbusters should be in all of them... i never knew razzies had bunch of cucks working for them...

Ghostbusters should have had at least worst director...

It is weird that the worst actress didnt have anyone from ghostbusters but then they go after robbbie..

Unless they were too scared of the backlash of adding ghostbusters

Since Marvel is rebooting (again) spiderman so close to the last reboot, all is not lost with BvS. I say scrap it, and reboot it, new cast, actors and story line....beach volleyball tourney....

BvS: Laguna Beach 2019....

Like I said in the part you edited out, it becomes pointless if the overall story isn't compelling or entertaining. Any deep meaning or layers that may have been added to a scene as a reference or allegory to a source material or historical even becomes just a failed experiment, IMO.

It's like "meaningful" subtext in a scene where the dialogue and acting sucks, the attempt at substance might be there on many levels that are obvious or not so easily accessible to the audience, but the superficial bad elements makes it difficult to find the subtext interesting, thus it becomes meaningless to some people.

Agreed.

I'll give Snyder credit for the thought he put into all the allusions and his attention to detail to small layers of allegory, but that doesn't change the fact that (IMO) the rest of the film's structure and pacing was shoddy and I didn't personally appreciate the treatment of some of the characters.

I hope bvs don't get any razzie rewards, I thought it was great. So much hate on the movie. Ben Affleck was great as Batman, Jeremy irons was good to. Pick on something else haters
