Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

It's funny cause War was based off JL Origin where they originally had Aquaman, and he was way more Badass than Cap Marvel in War, I hope they use AM, and later on add Cap Marvel.

Also, Aquaman also has super strength and is a good strategist, he doesn't necessarily need to be around water to be of help, although, having huge white sharks at your command is pretty badass.

I love Aquaman the king of Atlantis he is one of the titles that I collect and read. He could be DC Thor royalty and stuff.I know they are making a animation

Regardless of who they use, it was still a really stupid comment for Goyer to make.

It's weird, I expected a huge and indignant backlash.....

The one thing in this franchise's entire history of gossips and rumors that actually deserves a big backlash.... :slap

:dunno

Dig it.

It's not even a case of someone saying, "I heard that......." The guy's on tape saying it, witnesses and everything.

And nothing? Well, not nothing, but not what I would have expected.

Unbelievable.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

If Batman and Superman are in it, it doesn't matter. I don't think people really know Flash, or Aquaman either. They younger generation is the big revenue is going to come. Marvel has a raccoon with a gun, before a Wonder Woman movie! I think David Goyer was thinking if they weren't Superfriends, no one cares. Who cared about Green Arrow to have his own tv series, or Blade? I just think it's a weird comment.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I’m on no side, but I’m able to critique things in a more mature way so that I don’t ruin the excitement for the guys who are really looking forward to this. All it does is cause arguments and constant back and forth bickering. Not saying every member here is like that, but some comments do seem intentionally provoking.

If someone's excitement can be ruined on a forum it means they need emotional support to enjoy what they like. My positivity/negativity won't be affected unless someone makes a valid point for me. The worst thing that's ever happened to me on these forums was being spoiled on tons of Avengers stuff, but I know it was my mostly my fault for sticking around the forums... though I reserve special hatred for the hipsters who absolutely need to put the latest pirated footage in their animated sigs! The worst way to see the Hulk-Loki smash scene ever.

:cuss :cuss :cuss

We shouldn't shy away from tough criticism as long as it's not character assassination for it's own sake. The word is provocative, and every single open discussion ought to have it. Problem comes in where people identify so strongly with an opinion that any argument against it is the equivalent of a personal attack.

I thought it was common knowledge that Goyer is a hack d-bag. :huh

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Okay and then someone supplies me this information and I genuinely like the title more because of it:

"I have a legal background. The whole “v” thing, that is an adversarial thing in courts. When you go to court and you’re reading old court cases it’s “Smith v California”. The first name in the title of a court case is the grieving party. It’s the one bringing the grievance. The one saying the first party has a problem with the second party. And that’s the legal way that that’s set up. So when I look at that title, it makes sense that they left the “s” out of the “v” [in "vs."]. Now it makes sense to me. Batman is the one coming after Superman in this film. I have no doubt about that."

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Exactly right Batman is going after Superman , but people already know this and frankly irs the same 2 or 3 people who are complaining about man of steel. This is the height of ridiculousness that people are complaining about the title of a movie. But its great marketing the fact that people are arguing sbout a movie that is 2 years away is great for publicity.

^Ha, true, whatever you want to say about it so far they're keeping discussions alive, that's actually quite advantageous.:lol
