Thanks General! :duff Yeah, I know the feeling, in the same boat. I bought 9 for a 3x3 but I'm starting to think I might need to get an extra shelf in the future. I'll have those Vassbos lying around so hopefully it can work somehow, though aesthetically it might look weird.

Another week, another assembly!

^ i like those glass half shelves. How do you guys fit your 1/6 figures into a besta? I don't think I'm utilizing the space fully. When I rise the back row, I lost a lot of space under the half shelf. But not using a shelf, I can't see the figures in the back. These cabinets are so deep, if I can rise the back so that I can have 3 rows of figures from front to end, then I can fit more figures into one unit. Haven't figured a way to do this yet.

Thanks Eric! :duff

When you use one of the 1/2 glass shelves, you essentially lose the space below it unless you have figures in a kneel pose as I do. If you want a good amount of space between the figures, I think 3 up and 3 down is the best look for you. If you don't mind a bit of crowding, you can fit 4, possibly even 5 figures in each row if you don't use a base or have a custom smaller one, and if you move the bottom row up almost against the glass door, you can fit a few behind as well. For me, it looks a bit too crowded so I opted for only 2 rows, either 3 or 4 figures each. I'm still working on mine so hopefully I have updated pictures soon so you can see how it looks. :wink1:

I live in a small house, so space is a luxury for me :lol I'm trying to fit all iron man figures into one unit. Right now I have 8 including a giant iron monger and 2 more coming in the future. I can't use stands or bases because they take up so much space.

I know it's very crowded but like i said I don't have enough space. I was just thinking i can create another row between the front and back. I just need to cut a custom shelf and then drill more holes. That way i can push the front figures closer to the glass while fitting more figures in the middle row.

I don't think you'll be able to fit all those in 1, especially with Monger amongst them. They're slightly larger too, being an outer armor shell and all, but you can possibly fit the 8 regular ones into one.

I just saw the picture. You know what, if you put Monger in front, a 1/2 shelf in back, you actually might make it work if you don't mind the tight space. Are the ones in back already on a 1/2 shelf?

Yes there's a half shelf in the back. But if i put monger in the front, it's going to block the space behind him.

You're right. When you put the 1/2 shelf so low to fit Monger on back, it also lowers the other figure(s) you have in the back as well. If I were in your shoes, I'd put Monger in another unit without the 1/2 shelf. I think it's the only way to let your figures "breathe" a bit and allow them to be displayed in full sight. If I had that collection, I'd put Monger in the back "hovering" over 4 or 5 armors in front of him. His height/size is probably the issue causing the display problems. If you had a dynamic stand you can even prop up a figure in the back as well. Let me try to find the picture of my IM shelf.

If you have dynamic stands for that 1/2 glass shelf, you can make 1 or two of the armors in flight pose and maybe stick Monger in between them with the rest in front of the pack?

So for you guys using bestas for figures, what do you do about the bottom shelves? Feel like 12 inch figs at floor level kinda drives me crazy cause you cant see them.

Put solid doors on the bottom shelves and use them for storage.

Hm. Thats a pretty good idea. Def more eye pleasing, sucks to lose the shelf space tho. But yeah i cant see what else to use the bottom shelves for, as far as figures go of course.

Put an additional shelf up top if you have ceiling clearance. Use it for large items that are easy to see. I never consider displaying something close to the floor, so I don't consider it lost space - it's gained space for clean/neat/hidden storage. ;)

Yeah thats a good point. I have my xmen pfs on the bottom but im thinking about selling them all for more figures. Kinda falling out of the statue game

Check my post 1 or 2 pages back. :wink1:

Yeah thats a pretty good idea only thing is that would make my top shelf too high. I got my 1/4 batmans on the top and theyre approaching too high as is, and im 6'5". I got the ceiling space but the details of whats up there gets lost.
