Yeah, the character of Deadpool himself was my main problem with Deadpool 2. By the end of the movie, I was just exhausted by his personality.

I know that breaking the 4th wall is his entire thing...m but I hate it. I hate him talking to the camera, I hate it that he knows he's in a movie.
because then nothing matters.
I just hate it.

Deadpool 1 & 2 were both great :dunno
Enjoyed the first one at the time, the second was forgettable for me. The gag gets old after a while, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see this one. Just don't have high expectations for it ... I'll wait to see what people say before I commit my time.

Meh.
The first movie was a lot of fun, but you need some real good writing to make the joke work again, and part 2 did not deliver at all, so I've zero excitement for this.
Snarky Deadpool only works once.

He'd be better in small doses, as a small guest cameo in someone else's movie. I know they're trying to dilute him with a "straight man" but I have a feeling the audience will get as frustrated with Deadpool as Wolverine already is.

Wow, some people simply don't know how to have fun at the movies lol...

I reached that point in the second movie. Still love the first one, but in DP2 it felt like they couldn't allow one moment to pass without a quip. Had an anxious feel to it.

It’s funny buddy. Him msking silly references and knowing he’s in the movie is hilarious
but he ain't funny to me.... he's like a bad stand up comedian like Dane Cook lol  Deadpool is the dane cook of superheroes lol

I like both Deadpool movies and if anything I want him to go further and OBLITERATE the 4th wall.
For example, I secretly wish the TVA from Loki wasn't part of this movie and the plot was just Deadpool found out about Disney purchasing Fox and so he is on a quest to get his favourite X-Men and other early 2000s superheros like Blade into the MCU before the Multiverse fad officially dies out.
Deadpool has fun along the way while recruiting his new allies, plus has an epic fight with the vampires from the opening Blood Rave scene from Blade because that scene was so cool.
Then they all succeed and get into the MCU and once there they realize they are affected by the Disney family-friendly censors and so perform an Ocean's 11 style scheme to blackmail Bob Iger and the Disney executives to allow R-rated films in the MCU.
The film ends with success and Deadpool is happy, only now the writers have re-written things so that the X-Men/Blade etc have ALWAYS been in the MCU, none of his new "friends/allies" either remember him or only remember him as the insane immortal butt-ugly snarky mercenary he is and just think he is making **** up when he talks about the epic multi-franchise adventure they were just on.
Deadpool ends the movie by visiting Spider-Man to cheer himself up, Peter is astonished that somehow someone knows Peter Parker exists after the events of NWH.
