It slightly amuses me that the Kenobi show about his years between episode 3 and 4 when he previously was thought to have looked over Luke and never left Tattooine is going on this big adventure into the galaxy whereas Boba, known for adventuring and travelling through galaxy bounty hunting spent his whole show on Tattooine.

It seems that your expections have been... SUBVERTED!

Luke went from redhead milk to space cow manatee milk. There are worse fates...

Oh, there will be plenty Tattooine for everyone, don't worry. The cutaways to fabulous places won't last too long for you.

Coming to Disney Plus in 2023 is a Blair Witch Project style "film" that is recovered when a teenage Luke Skywalker discovers an old VHS tape recorded by a group of Jawas out in the desert on his way to Tosche Station. It's a documentary of sorts that shows their edgy lifestyle in it's gritty form. Droid kidnapping, shady business deals, chopping stolen speeders for parts are all in poor 480p display. Imagine Disney's horror when they realize at the end is X rated group scene where the gang "dates" the mechanic lady from town.

Transport yourself back to 1977 into the movie theater with me and imagine being mesmerized by an entire new experience called SW and then you get to Obi-Wan informing Luke that he was chased by an Inquisitor a bad semi Jedi and describes HER appearance as a female with skin as dark as her soul.

You would IMMEDIATELY be taken out of that NEW SW experience and think only this….

BECAUSE IT’S FREAKING 1977 the illusion would be instantly broken and would no longer be in a galaxy far far away and instead be back on the streets of Detroit lol

Can't wait to see Vader again.....

I'm looking forward to the scene when Vader is sent to Tatooine by the Emperor to instill fear while threatening & chastising the Inquisitors for their ineptitude to find the hiding Jedi. And just as he dismisses them he throws a Anakin/Luke/Kylo temper tantrum about how much he hates sand while massacring some Jawas & Tuskens...

Que the influx of YT clickbait videos and articles on how that terrifying moment ends up changing everything!

Vader going on a Tusken massacre is honestly too problematic for them at this point. At least Kieron Gillen's got us covered.

We'll never get something like this from the current canon.

I'm still excited to see Hayden return though. At the very least we could get a cool DX dolly with a throne and a Hayden head and everything.

Up till now Obi-Wan hiding on Tatooine made perfect sense because it was the one place in the galaxy Vader/the Empire would never go. Up till now. His failure is even more complete than it was before!

(The panel above makes more sense; Vader didn't return to Tatooine until he found out about Luke.)

I didn't really mind them ruining Boba cos he was always a fringe character (albeit massively popular), but when you start messing with the central elements of the saga...

I am excited to see Vader. But it's gonna wind up being bitter sweet. I seriously hope he never sets foot on Tatooine and does not confront Obi-Wan at all.. I'm fine with just seeing him from a far.

But I fear the worst. Disney can't help themselves. I really don't need the Disney fanboys/apologists re-defining the "At last, we meet again" phrase and how it doesn't mean they never crossed paths since the end of ROTS. That is EXACTLY what Lucas intended. Why Tarkin even says "surely he's dead by now". And the whole Learner/Master dynamic... FFS Disney...

But more than likely, this is exactly what we will get. Fan service, when there doesn't need to be fan service. And our new bad ass Inquisitor will surely stand up to Vader and put him in his place. Maybe she'll even best him in a training scene.. :gah: I can only imagine all the horrid ideas these writers come up with and think they are awesome.

Give Hayden his own Vader show. Hunting down Jedi with the Inquisitors through the REST of the SW galaxy. No need to ever set foot on Tatooine OR Dagobah. That's next, a Yoda in hiding show. Set on Dagobah with him fighting off the Inquisitors as well... :slap

Catwoman will probably flip Vader over a table when he tries to mansplain.
