DLC is probably dead for this like Heavy Rain. But who knows, DLC for HR got bumped since they were too busy with making HR Move compatible.

True but they are also making a next gen game right now. They probably had more than one team for both games but I can see them moving on and focusing just on the PS4 game now.

Not that I'm not excited for that game but I'd enjoy a little more exploring in beyond' s universe.

To quote myself, I'd love to play the game as Zoey. They don't have to even get Page back, they can make a sequel with Zoey since
She has something in common with Jodie

They could explore that in a sequel.

I don't think the game would work playing as just a regular human with no powers.

I kind of feel like it's not a game, I haven't had any point where you can fail, any time you miss something it either lets you retry immediately or it just continues. Has anyone actually messed up and died or anything?

That's because it's more an interactive cinematic movie. GAME OVER, would just ruin the free flowing nature of this experience.

And I've LOVED every moment of this game and experience.

Been playing the crap out of it, redoing sections, going for all the endings, trophies.

Replaying from Homeless, to have everyone live, then also redo with everyone dead, and see all the different outcomes.

Just playing...it wasn't too hard, but your time beat mine, it seems

I'm just playing too. I think the time I had left on the clock was 17:43. I was trying to go fast because I didn't know how many puzzles there were and I didn't want to run out of time and miss any.

It should have been just done as a movie, the choices don't actually matter outside of the chapter they are in.

If this isn't your type of game than that's more than fine. But making this a movie would defeat the purpose of what this genre of game is trying to do. Create an experience that is interactive where different events can occur and play out based on decisions made.

Yeah, the choices in this game seem to only affect the chapter they are in. And yeah it would be great to make a decision early on that would change the story much later on.

But the experience from one individual to the next can be greatly different from chapter to chapter based on how they tackle the game.

Whoever said this was like the pick your own adventure books hit the nail on the head. And your kinda right. It is like a movie,...which allows user interaction. It's like watching, [insert favorite movie here] and having a degree of interactivity instead of just being a silent outside observer.

With all the call of dutys of the world it's good to have variety in the gaming scene. Even if this type of game isn't for everybody, everyone should agree that games that bring uniqueness to the table should be welcomed.

Making it have choices didn't bring anything new, it's just what was expected. The problem is that there's a specific story to tell, and it's not the "players" story. Other games that have choice are designed around a character that the player themselves create, you make the choices that you want to make. Checking out the other choices is more about trying to look at all the content than it is about actually making those decisions.

They could have made it much better if they had had your decisions change things later on, like if you decided on revenge at the party or at the bar, then that would mean dark things later on.

Agree with everything you said, but my biggest gripe, is whats the point of having levels like hunted, or the mission, if you can’t die, especially in a context sensitive game. The mission level was just terrible, it has to be the most linear level I have ever seen, even in terms of gameplay.

I really don't like you can't kill any character until the last chapter. Heavy Rain is superior in that regard, you were pretty much about to kill the entire cast and just leave Scott.

Yup, its been a while since I played Heavy Rain, but I remember that one chapter, with the female reporter in the creepy guys house trying to kill her. That was a great experience for me. It was intense, this game lacks a lot of that because it just feels like I’m pushing buttons for the sake of pushing them.

Just Played the "Navajo" Chapter, and it was so good that it was like it's own TV episode of a series .

Considering that no choice really effects anything except for a specific line of dialogue you're right.
