Well, he'll be on TV for the 50th anniversary episode..... :hi5:

Then the Christmas hand over to Mr C! And here is the update text from their FB page regarding #4 and #10...

The Clothing Maketh the Man

We know you guys are eager to see progress on both the 4th and 10th Doctors, believe us when we say that we have been pushing our vendors for an update. However, having falling foul of poorly taken photographs and samples that are not quite ready, we have been understandable cautious. We appreciate it is frustrating for many of you who have been waiting on an update, but please understand we can only update you when we have something to share with you. Else we would be complained at for repeating "nothing to see yet guys".

We have been working hard to improve upon our first two releases and want you to be happy that your hard earned has been spent wisely. To this end we have been working together with our quality control guy out in China, who in turn works very closely with our vendor. We have been tweaking and revising the costumes and paint decoration for the figures. A set of the production samples of both costumes is currently en-route to us and will be in on Monday. In the meantime we thought you would like to see the quality for yourselves.

There is (yet another) national holiday in China the first half of next week, after which point a set of painted production heads will be shipped out to us. Once we have these in our hands we will of course share them with you in due course. Rest assured production is well underway and despite the delays these figures will ship in time for the holidays.

Thanks BCS

Good to know but do they mean ship to them or ship out to us? They seem to be saying that they will be shipping to us. Which would mean before new year. However, knowing BCS's history of really seriously bad luck - no offence intended if you're reading this Mark, Tony and Greggo, I really mean it - I suspect that this will really be early Q1 of 2014, as much as I would love it to be otherwise.

Quarter 1 of 2014 is when it'll be. The final clothes and head sculpts have yet to be finalized and the figure still have to go into production. Add that to the holiday and time for shipping from China to the UK, it adds up to months.

I just hope they don't hit the same month.

Well, like I said...I suspect that this will be the case too. Only, I can live with it as it works in my favour in terms of finances. Of late, the delays for figures, HT's in particular, have actually worked for me.

It's a bit like a French perfume commercial,

Footage in B/W, a woman on a beach, violin music...

"You love them, then you hate them. You need them, then you shun them. You want them, then you spurn them....Sometimes they are good, sometimes they are bad, but there always are...

Baker is paid for and Tennant is almost there as well, so no worries for me. I am really glad I took advantage of their payment plans.

Don't know what you've been smoking today Daron, but it made me laugh!

Some good vibes on the boards at last. I too would prefer Ten to come after Christmas for financial reasons, and seriously doubt we'll see him before then anyway. Besides, it would really brighten up January-February, my least favourite time of the year.

Well, I have been taking stock just recently. I have been way too confrontational on these boards myself, boards which I really enjoy I should add, hacking off a lot of people and so I decided that a change was in order.

Plus I am also in the middle of writing a book. I am about 10,000 words in and so far it's going really well. It's bringing back a lot of good memories.

Someone remind me what the original estimated release date of 10 was...

Pertwee should look stunning and Eccleston in his leathers will also look great. I really need top finish my TARDIS before Tennant hits. :horror

And what year will that be again? We still haven't even seen the Hartnell proto yet.

This is brilliance, a perfect combination of wonderful music and amazing skill...

They are all without context but, things that I noticed at

5:09 Chris Eccleston in clay.
6:33 Khan, Scotty and Uhura also in clay.

And an enormous Thunderbird 2 about half way through.

The Eccleston (superb!) looks to be part of the statuette range. I would love to be wrong though.

I am upset to say it but I may have to cancel this one... so anyone on the wait list may be getting lucky !
