Sideshow Collectibles Mark 3 1:2 Scaled Replica -CONFIRMED

Q: First, congratulations for your great works in your Marvel line! I want to know if it is possible in the near future to have a Premium Format or 1/4 scale Maquette of the Iron Man Mark 3 movie version created by Sideshow?

A: We are planning a full-body Mark 3 Iron Man piece, although it may not be exactly what you’re thinking - it may be even better (or at least bigger…)

Could this be the 1/3 Mark 3 from Favreau's Twitter Pics?

This is the Iron Man piece I have been waiting for! :rock There's no way I will be passing this one up. Whether or not it's the one Favreau had in his pics, I'm sure Sideshow will do an awesome job! :rock

Wow, I cannot even begin to imagine what the price point on that thing will be...

Its the same one. They are progress pics to show detail and size, the painted and lights are the finished piece.

Neither can I, but honestly, if the final piece looks like those in the pictures, than I don't mind shelling out the money for this one. This will definitely steal some of the spotlight in any collection.

Well they improved a lot on the final piece. That raw sculpt looks squatty. I also prefer the not so extreme turn of the head and the closed hands on the final version as well.

1/3 scale + LEDs? This might just be the definitive IM some of us have been waiting for...

Perhaps when/if it happens my SIM would have to find a new home :monkey2:monkey2

Yeah, according to what I understood on Statue Forum its the same one just went under the revisions to get to Favreau's place before being finalized but if I'm wrong someone will correct me. Either way both are 1/3 pieces so take a look at the last pic where its next to the guy and you'll get an idea of the size.

Nah. Abe Sapien was only $300 and that is 1:3 even Juggy was only $324. Add the lights and the fact that the armor will require the extra detail and I don't see this going any higher than $599 maybe $699 max. This will not be more than the 1:1 Bust.

OMG, this would be f'in awesome.
i've already started stealing from the kids piggy banks to save for this sucker.

i can already hear the value of the 1:1 bust falling around the world.
though at $1500 it might be a tough sell, but at least it would have a smaller es.:naughty

Give me a decent paint job, and I could be down -- $800-900 is my guess.
